This is my third Mac mouse. The preview two used Apple's clever, tiny roller ball. One was wired, the other wireless. They worked fine when new but over time the roller ball suffered as all mice roller balls due because of lint, dirt, dust, etc. They stops rolling. Worse, Apple's roller ball cannot be cleaned and eventually has to be recycled. (I took one apart to prove this to myself.) The new Magic mouse uses no roller ball. In fact it has no moving parts at all! No orifices to become clogged, no cleaning to do. Instead, it uses trackpad-like technology. Users drag one or two fingers across the surface for different scrolling effects, and click the left or right side for a traditional left or right click. The Magic mouse fits comfortably in hand and is delightfully handsome, just as you'd expect from Apple. It runs off AA batteries which appear to last longer. And, of course, it is wireless. Setup was easy and efficient. No surprise. The Magic mouse works flawlessly with or without an optical mouse pad and seems gentle on surfaces (should you be using a nice wooden desk, e.g.). My only complaint is the price. But you come to tolerate higher prices from Apple because their products are superior. And that, I figure, is only fair. 5 |

Mouse is one of the modern instruments most of us use most during the day, and incredibly enough not much thought in terms of ergonomic design is given by manufacturers. This mouse is excellent. I used to have minor pains after prolonged usage, until I found this mouse.. Hope more manufactures start giving more serious thoughts to mouses. I know the price is high, but how much is a healthy right hand / arm worth? 5 |

Overall this is an amazing mouse! Very light, need very little pressure to click, feels great in your hand, cord doesn’t get tangled, and the response time when clicking is amazing! The one complaint I have is I wish that the sensor was a little bit stronger so when I pick up my mouse a little bit to switch to targets that are farther away when playing a FPS it keeps tracking and doesn’t stay stationary until I place my mouse back down. Even that isn’t a huge issue though so I definitely recommend this to anyone as a great budget mouse for gaming! 5 |

I use my mouse for regular computer use and CAD drawing. So far have had no issues. I really like the light click, you just have to put a little pressure on the button instead of having to push like you want to break it. I also really like and use the programmable buttons. When you use it on a extended desktop with a PC it moves smoothly and evenly unlike some other mice. 5 |

This mouse is accurate, easy to grip and click on the right and left mouse buttons. It is light, moves easily and the charge lasts a fair amount of time. I like the ongoing support, i.e. updates. Finally, the multiple connections modes (bluetooth, cable, wifi) make it a good mouse in different locations. 5 |

I have a nerve disease and this is so much more comfortable for my hands than the other ergonomic mice I have tried. I know people say it has a loud click but it sounds the same as the others to me. 5 |

I developed severe tendinitis in my right wrist after years of using a conventional computer mouse. I started using my left hand to mouse and developed the same injury in that wrist. After receiving hand therapy and using the Expert Mouse, my wrists have healed. This device allows me to point, click, double-click and drag without making any of the finger motions that inflame my wrist tendons. I have used a wired Expert Mouse at home and at work for over three years. The wireless version works just as well but is much more convenient. 5 |
