Between the min and max marking, you get about 5 1/3 stops of densitiy variation with hardly any change in color. I've read some reviews here where people complain about the Big X across the picture that is caused by this filter. Well that's what happens when you turn it beyond the maximum density marking. Don't do that, and you'll be happy.

Like all ND filters this one has a little color shift, but it’s nothing crazy. The markings on the filter are not calibrated stops and are just there for reference. Things to improve this filter would be stops at the min and max versus having it spin 360 degrees, but I’m not aware of any filters that do this. If you use this filter outside of its min and max tolerances, you will see undesirable results with crosshatching in your images, etc. ive tried more expensive ones and it wasn’t worth the price. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any budget ones that could keep up.

Smooth operation, just be aware that it will show the standard X pattern if you go past the max mark, as it has no hard stops to prevent that.

Likes: 1.has physical stops for both Min and Max settings, so one does not under- nor over-shoot the workable range; 2.easy to attach onto one's lens, unlike a competitor [Ti***n] where it's nearly impossible to attach [base ring is recessed]; 3.little vignetting; 4.little coloration; 5.feels solid and high quality. Dislikes: 1.price could be a skosh lower.

Please ignore all negative comments about how expensive this is, how Leica should have included this with the M cameras, why this is an accessory for snobs who want to flaunt another red dot on their camera, etc. This is a very functional and useful accessory. With no IBIS in M cameras, this accessory comes in very handy in taking hand-held shots at low shutter speeds. I would say this button buys you at least two stops, maybe even 3 stops of additional steadiness. I first tried the 0.5 version, which is when I realized what a useful little accessory this is - it's pretty, but it's not just that: this is a very serious, professional tool. The only problem was, the 0.5 size was way too big and gets in the way, so I kept accidentally clicking without meaning to. The 0.3 button is perfect. Works exceptionally well and worth the money. Just get it!

I bought this switch to allow bulb exposures for night photography. I tried it out on July 4, photographing fireworks. It is lightweight and relatively easy to use, but it took a little experimenting to understand it fully. Pressing down the button until slight resistance is met (half-way) permits adjustment of shutter speed and aperture. Pressing further starts the exposure and releasing it stops the exposure. However, for really long exposures one also has the option of pressing the button forward so that it locks, starting the exposure. Sliding it back again stops the exposure. Very logical. One can also use the remote to do timed exposures (up to 30 seconds on my camera). In this mode it functions exactly the same as the shutter button on the camera and there is no need for the lock feature. It seems that one can also use the shutter button on the camera without disconnecting the switch. I have read complaints about the construction of the switch. It is very lightweight, but the construction seems robust enough to me. I can't vouch for reliability because I have not had it long enough. I am happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid camera shake when using the camera on a tripod.

I found the Hollyland Lark Max to be a feature packed, reliable, and compact person portable microphone system. I also own the DJI Mic System for comparison. I love using this system on the go for run and gun filmmaking. In the field I found the Lark Max easy to use and conceal when paired with a Lavalier Mic. Pros 1. Great 24-bit Audio with minimal clipping.  2. Easy to use touch screen to adjust settings. 3. Dozens of useful features.  4. Full coverage windscreen. 5. Easy to read bright LCD Receiver 6. 820 ft long range transmission without any obstructions. 7. Red record light is small and off to the side and out of camera view. However the mode light is on the front and I wish there was a way to turn it off to avoid distracting the viewer. 8. Inexpensive compared to other wireless microphone offerings in the market. 9. Long Battery Life and Internal Recording Storage 10. Can be used on as an External Recorder with your Phone, Action Camera, or Mirrorless Camera System. 11. Receiver, 2 Mics, and Accessories all fit in one convenient storage pouch. 12. Several recording modes to choose from and great for filming interviews. Cons 1. No record lock button that I could find to stop an accidental record button press while actively recording. 2. The record button is small and can be difficult to press with large fingers. 3. Menu system and setting take some getting used. Compared to the DJI Mics, I found them a bit more cumbersome on the Lark Max 4. When using the system on the phone, I found the cord to be long compared to the kind of compact connection of the DJI Mic system. 5. The biggest flaw No 32-bit float audio which would've been the icing on the cake! Overall if you're looking for an all around on-the-go wireless microphone system, look no further than the Hollyland Lark Max.
