Works like it's supposed to. Unlike some reviews, I can only detect very minor noise. Seems fairly well built for the price, but I've only had it a couple of weeks so I can't vouch for durability. Nearly ideal range of speed, from quite slow to quick-as-you-would-want-for-still-shots, at least as long as your batteries don't get low. I'm using it for real estate photos on a pole, and it's a bit heavy for that but still quite usable with an SLR. Good smooth motion, so quite useful for video as well. The battery/120V choice is helpful, and the optional extended control cord is, too. 5 |
