I have an original Nexus 7 tablet that I wanted to use to view my recently taken photos. I wanted somthing other than a laptop. I bought a mirco-USB OTG cable and downloaded the Nexus Media Importer. With this flash reader, I can now plug the SD card from the camera into the reader, connect the reader to the tablet with the OTG cable and view my pictures on the tablet. Very nice for sharing. By removing the pictures from the camera, I do not have to power the camera to view them. I take DNG RAW pictures and they appear instantly as I move from one to the other. This arrangement works very well! 5 |

This little gadget allows you to hook up a card reader to a NOOK tablet. When traveling, you can then put your SD card with photos of your trip onto the reader to see them larger than on your camera. This is great for sharing and gives you a much better idea of the image. Just be sure to shoot with JPEG as well as RAW and you're set to go. 5 |
