Eagle Box Android Retro Games Console

I have used the Amazon Fire Stick, Matricom G-Box Q and Roku 3 for a while. I had been thinking about getting the NVidia Shield TV for a while and finally decided to get it when the new version with Amazon and the smaller footprint was released. I have played with it for about 2 weeks and I have to say that this is the most powerful box I have used as far as Android TV is concerned. I have SlingTV, YouTube, Amazon Video, Plex and Kodi apps that I use most often. I do have a 32GB usb stick connected to save apps and data there since I have the 16GB model. That works but apps do take a little longer to start from the USB. I did install a few games that the kids enjoy playing and they work great. Some games do crash every now and then such as Hungry Shark but not all. The included remote and came controller are easy to use and get used to. This box makes using Android TV enjoyable whereas others promise performance that diminishes quickly over time. I would highly recommend this box to anyone who doesn't mind spending $200 and values performance and quality of cost. This box replaced a Roku, G-Box and Chromecast for me and I don't have to buy a separate gaming console for the kids, at least for a little while.

Bought this to play retro game consoles on a 4k TV. And it does an amazing job. I use svideo from the console into the kanex and output 720p over HDMI. This from my experience looks the best. My games look much better than just running through composite into the TV and there is no lag. From what I can tell anyway. Much better than the cheap converters on Amazon

I enjoy this offer that allows me to secure my android devices and PC and have security visibility, in a centralized console in the cloud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since game console makers can't seem to come to grips with the fact that their sames take up so much memory and that they, for reasons unknown, still insist on releasing systems with only enough memory to store 3 games on (War Zone, Cold War and Vanguard) them...wanna play the new Resident Evil Village? Too bad because you can't...wait a minute! Yes you can! With the samsung - 980 PRO PCIe ® 4.0 NVMe™ SSD 1TB you can increase that measly manufacturer supplied memory and store more games than the console itself does ND with zero lag, zero overheating and amazing performance! I give it all the stars and only wish I had been able to afford the 2TB lol

I'm not building anything super fantastic in it as I'm building something for playing retro games with PC emu on Debian. Small and has a pleasing aesthetic, wish it came in beige but white will have to do. Basic build since it's for emulation, not virtualization: MSI H510I 8Gb 2x4Gb of 2666Mhz Corsair RAM Corsair SF450 Noctua NH-L9x65 (I like quiet) Pentium Gold G6405 (Pentium Case Sticker!)
