Surprisingly good audio Tons of functions for versatility Good and well placed physical controls Software interface is very well thought out and very easy to access. Great focal length range Excellent macro capability Good image stabilization Customer service EXCELLENT! I torqued the lens as it was closing and stripped it. Texas repair center replaced the lens at no charge. I've read complaints of poor communication. I did the follow-up calls at reasonable intervals and found the communication to be just fine. Sounded more like a busy repair shop than a customer service outfit. AOK with me. Be proactive. Cons: Needs light at the tele end so pics in dim light are noisy. Aperature range limited Autofocus has some trouble with low contrast subjects.
