Easy Rock Instrumental Solos Cello

Wanted a moderately priced unit to record my blues guitar solos. After reviewing all the available units within my price range, I selected Zoom's H2n, which was very competatively priced at B&H. In a word, the unit is amazing - the menu is easy to navigate and the controls are easy to master. Best of all the onboard mics do an exceptional job of recording the tube colored solos played through my Mesa gear. Utilizing a small tripod, and the remote control unit, the H2n is placed in front of the speakers. The sound quality is exceptional and recording are easy to transfer and process with my audio software. I can't judge how it handles voice recording, but its ability to handle music is exceptional. Finally, I was pleased that B&H offered it - over the years, I've learned first hand why they have such a good reputation for customer service.

Excellent pick up and easy to use. This mic is exactly what we needed to help our solos project over the rest of the swing band.

Great little addition to any instrumental setting

I use this mic for voiceovers/commentaries and instrumental recording. It works perfect and and is very easy to appy different effects without degrading the quality of the sound. Also something to be put into consideration is the shape, although the thread is standard the shape may be a problem to some, it wasn't for me but i thought i would just mention it. I would also suggest that you see it yourself in store to really get a feel for how big it is. The mic itself is very light and the stand is heavy, but that's is for a good reason. Overall this mic records very clear and it is a lot more appealing than some other mics out there.

Easy to use and rock solid.

These are a great softener for the cello and should come standard with each.

I'm using the Cello ShutterBoss II with my Sony a6300 and it works great. Very easy to program for timed sequence shooting, long exposures and even works as simple cable release.

This Diffuser is solid and easy to use. Just place it near your Cello and it magnetically snaps on. The magnets are strong enough to keep the diffuser in place in any position but it's easy to remove and store. The diffusion is perfect and create a soft spread of flattering window light. I hadnt thought of this before, but makes it super easy to packup light accessories and even the little luxli viola and cello lights from light stands.

The SM57 is an instrumental mic but it still works great as an interview mic as well for videos.
