Eclipse Damage Camera

Used it during the recent solar eclipse. Filter allowed me to get shots of the eclipse before and after totality without any damage to my camera's image sensor. Worked like a charm.

Used it for the solar eclipse and it worked with no problem no damage to my D750 camera sensor. I'm glad I bought the filter! Very good product.

The most important thing for me, of course, was that there was no damage to my camera sensor. So great on that account. Otherwise it did what it was supposed to do. It’s unbelievably dark. You still will probably need to use a high F stop and a fairly fast shutter speed. I didn’t get to photograph a complete eclipse, because I was a few kilometers short of a complete annular eclipse so I had a fairly bright sun throughout. I believe I was mainly shooting at F 16, with a shutter speed of 500 or more but I’d have to check my file data.

Ordered the eclipse map it came in a huge box, and the map was laid out flat as to not damage the map. Well, they forgot to secure the map and it slide around and did some slight damage to the edge of the map. Not a big deal but a shipping tube. that would have allowed the map to be rolled, would have been better packing. The map it self is great. Lots of information crammed into one sheet. I am really looking forward to this event. We are in the path of totally!
