These particular glasses were recommended by NY Magazine in The Strategist section. Not wanting to be shut out of getting eclipse glasses like the last time, I ordered them the morning after reading the recommendation and got them via mail next day. It get's pretty hot and humid in NY in the summer. I have several cameras and very nice glass. Some of them are expensive and some of them are from 1950s that belonged to my dad. This cabinets fits al lot of gear, it's silent (it's actually right next to my bed), and it's keeps consistent humidity level even in very humid conditions. It's nice to be able to control brightness of the display and built-in LED lights are very helpful. I think you have to have something like this if you plan to use your gear for more then five years. 5 |

Worked perfectly fine for this year's eclipse, without having to buy a glass filter the exact right size. During totality, it had to quickly come off the lens, and that was relatively simple. Will I save it for another eclipse? 5 |
