I don't wear glasses, but I still prefer this eyecup to both the medium and long versions on my X-T2 (I've tried all three). I like to get my eye pretty close to the viewfinder and the other eyecups have a ridge of rubber that presses against my face and can get slightly annoying sometimes. This eyecup doesn't offer any extreme light-blocking abilities like the long version, but I wasn't looking for that anyway since I regularly shoot old film cameras with no eyecups at all. Also, this eyecup avoids any awkwardness when holding the camera in portrait orientation, since the ridge that sticks out is circular and not an oval shape. 5 |
