These glasses are quite well made and are compliant with applicable safety standards. Far superior to inexpensive give-away cardboard models. Alas, my area was completely clouded over, and I was able to use these glasses for their intended purpose for only 5 or 10 seconds. I'll probably pass them on to others for whom a solar eclipse is on the agenda. Next time for me would be 2044 when I'll be 102. 5 |

The pack of 4 eclipse safety glasses is a deal; both economical and sturdy. When I was younger my mom took us to an outdoor park on an eclipse day. Then she told us “ do NOT look up. It can cause blindness to look at the sun without wearing safety glasses. That was a most difficult challenge when you’re a young kid. I still remember the feeling of wanting to look up so much, but being born with double vision I surely didn’t want to invite any other eye problems. IIF ONLY I HAD ONE PAIR OF GLASSES LIKE B&H SELLS.
