Replaced my older Eero mesh as the XT9 price was right. Performance without a wired backhaul was very good (700Mbs wifi download). Adding ethernet backhaul on 1st AIMesh node 2.5 Gbs port increased wifi to router speeds to over 2Gbs on wifi! Great performance for the price compared to Orbi! Easy setup with ASUS Router phone app and more comprehensive web GUI too! 5 |

This modem has been great with our new upgraded wifi service and eero 6 router. We’re so pleased with this purchase and glad we splurged for a higher level service and products. I replaced my old Netgear router and extenders with the Asus GT-AXE16000 and the difference is like night and day. The WiFi signal is solid and the AIMesh partnered with the Asus Zen WiFi XT9 is an unbelievable feature. I'm able to take WiFi all the way to the other side of our house's second floor and it is still a solid connection. The number of options under the web GUI for administrations is amazing. We have tried several different routers, extenders, and internet providers over the years to try to maintain a strong wifi signal. This one finally has what we are looking for! The wifi signal is strong throughout the house and it can output the internet speed we actually pay for! 5 |
