El Tape Watch Battery

I bought the EN-EL 14A Lithium-Ion battery for use in BG-N12 Battery Grip for use during a once-in-a-lifetime photo expedition to Maui, Hawaii. The battery held its charge.

The Nikon EN-EL 18d Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery is a super battery with an incredibly long life and easy to recharge. Highly recommend!

I would have said, You're crazy, about my paying $900 for an on-camera flash but while my credit card still whimpers every time I open the B&H webpage, I love this flash. I do primarily model photography which often means shooting almost as fast as you can. Previously, I've relied on an Godox AD360 with battery pack and even it starts slowing down after a few hundred shots. Using the Godox means a tripod and umbrella to get good results but when you are working in tight quarters and changing locations, it's a challenge. Recently, I bought the ProMediaGear BBGV2 Boomerang Flash Bracket along with the Canon Speedlite EL-1 for my Canon R5. The Boomerang bracket takes the weight off the R5 and lets you quickly switch from vertical to horizontal formats easily. On my first photoshoot with the EL-1, I couldn't believe how fast the recycle time was. Instantaneous would be my assessment of the recycle time, I kid you not. With the R5's fantastic eye autofocus system, I could basically tape the shutter button down and not miss a shot. The Canon EL-1 supports the R5's electronic zoom and flash controls perfectly. As an old school photographer, what would be perfect would be to move the capacitors out of the flash to an external battery pack like similar to the old Metz 202 style lightweight and powerful potato masher flashes. If you have a Canon EOS camera and need a powerful and rapid recycling flash, take a look at the EL-1.

I am currently shooting with e Nikon D500equipped with a battery pack. The camera came with a single MH25-A Battery Charger. I wanted/needed a second MH25-A to be able to charge both EN-EL 15 batteries simultaneously after a long day shooting. The unit is small, light weight and can plug in using either the provided cord or just the wall plug. East to carry and store when travelling. Charge time is decent. I recommend it if you use EN-EL 15 Li-Ion batteries

Great for use of EN-EL 18a and 18b batteries in the battery pack for D500 and D850 -it should come with the battery pack; it is only $24.95 but it is annoying to receive the pack and have to order this gadget additionally and wait for it so we can use the whole thing.

The MB-D18 gives an additional two frames per second and a huge increase in battery life when you use the EN EL 18a battery.
