I saw the Rode dealer video, showing this WS-7 on an NTG-3 about 2 feet directly in front of a 12 table fan running at fast speed. The op was speaking into the mic and you couldn't hear any wind. Good enough for me, I bought one and am very happy with it. If it has been packed away flat, you should always brush the hairs out as straight as possible to let them do their job. For very high outdoor wind, a Blimp is better but it needs another operator. 5 |

I got tired of my 48 umbrellas blowing over in the wind, even with a 12 lb. weighted bag on the bottom of my light stand. No such issues with this softbox. It puts out really good light quality. I will be using this little gem a lot from now on! 5 |
