Ele Cam Explorer 4K Waterproof Camera

As a BMPCC 4K user, I love this camera. I use it as a Leica-esq street video cam, with a neck strap, and an iPhone monitor. Still learning how to expose correctly for the highest quality color grade in Resolve. Absolutely love the Z Cam FB book group that has already answered every question you may have. As my BMPCC4K rig has gotten more complex to fix all its shortcomings (battery, screen mostly), the simplicity of the z cam w the wireless iPhone monitor is a breath of fresh air. My BM has become more of a studio/controlled environment cam, while the M4 is my run and gun. Main flaw - I wish there were an easier was to playback video in the field, as of now, it’s close to impossible with a WiFi connection. Other than that, loving getting to know this camera.

Don't be fooled by the price, the G7 while set at a much lower price point than its bigger brother the GH4, delivers excellent quality video. Footage straight out of this camera readily matches that of the GH4. It may not have all of the bells and whistles of the GH4 but it has over 90% of the features. The main thing that I am impressed by is the fact that the low light performance is much better than that of the GH4. You can get almost 2 stops better low light performance. That coupled with the fact that it shoots 4k and 1080p 60fps along with a very affordable price tag......You have yourself a winner. I would easily recommend this as a B-Cam for those that already have the GH4. For those that are now looking into getting into 4k video you can pick up one of these as your A-Cam. The only thing missing is the lack of a headphone jack for audio monitoring. Loved this little camera so much, I bought a second one!

This camera is my go to camera for EVERYTHING. A 4K cam that can film up to 60fps in 4K and up to 120fps in full HD. And the photos come out amazing and can shoot in raw for easy editing. Great camera for a great price.

This is my second Z CAM E2-S6 camera, intended to replace a BMPC 4K and a BM micro studio, both unusable because none of the power inputs work anymore...just after the BMPC warranty period. Planned obsolescence ???

With the low quality of most webcams, I was looking for a higher quality web cam. Realizing that I had a cabinet full of camera gear with great sensors, I wanted to use one of my cameras for my webcam. I tried using Sony's software solution for using your digital camera as your web cam, but found that it did not work with all applications. I purchased this adapter as a kind of middle of the road solution. It is good quality, but not 4K. No need for 4K if you are just doing video conferencing. This adapter with a Sony RX100V on a Sirui mini-tripod and a GVM LED disc light are an awesome combination. The first time I used this setup, co-workers immediately noticed the increased video quality during meetings compared to my usual Macbook Pro web cam. Highly recommended for this use case.

Using this monitor for my 4k cam recording session was a breeze.

We put a Hero cam in its waterproof box, attached it to a glider, and sent it up with the pilot. It was mounted outside the aircraft. Apparently somewhere around 1,000 feet, not long after takeoff, the inside of the waterproof box fogged up. We missed the entire flight we had paid for. It's a very tight case and it is difficult to fit in, but these moisture packs do fit most of the waterproof cases. Buy a limited quantity first to see if they fit. In not, just keep them in your camera bag to protect the equipment.

Shimoda is by far my favorite camera backpack maker, I use there Explorer V2 for all travel work and a lot of production work. The Urban Explore is perfect for my day to day work, alongside a personal travel pack for street photography. Great construction, super comfortable even with weight, simply the best!

It’s light, sturdy and offers motion control. Purchased this for my Pocket 4k as a slider b cam to my Ursa Mini for interviews and detail shots. So far, I really love it.
