Electric Cool Air

Cool gadget when you have to practice on electric guitar - quietly !!!

My main reason for getting this DataVac Electric Duster is to replace having to buy canned air which can be very costly and just keeps adding up to my expense. I could probably have bought 5 of these for all the money I spent for canned air. This Electric Duster does what it's supposed to do, if not, much better because it can continuously blow air. I have no complains and I'm pretty sure I will be using this often.

these are great for getting some lights in the air, they might have some parts partially made in France which is also cool.

I mounted this in the next rack over from a piece of equipment that runs hot and didn't have a front intake (where the cool air is). I fashioned a deflector and it blows plenty of cool air to the side intake on the hot equipment. It's not too loud and was easy to reverse so that it was sucking air in from the front of the rack.

You can't beat this size and speed for this capacity. I would leave on a cool surface though, and try and give it air, it gets hot as heck when transfering TB size files.

Was having heat issues with DTV boxes and the cards were getting brown and fried from the heat. DTV boxes now are getting cool air and not sucking in hot hair blown out by the box it was on top of or laying next to. Great price, perfect solution.
