Electric Cooling Blanket Australia

I recently received my Delta 1300. I charged it up. Made 12 cups of coffee, charged a couple devices and ran my electric blanket on high for 6-7 hours. Used roughly 40%. Blanket used the most. I wanted to see how long the unit would last without recharge at my max need. Basically I can go winter camping in my truck for at least two days without a need to recharge. Probably at least 4-5 days, probably longer, in warmer weather (9 months of the year) when I do not need the electric blanket. For me this negates the need for solar panels. Less to buy, less to take with me. Also the power of the Delta is such that it allows you to run higher Watt items and run them longer. When you compare these factors against the competitive units, they either have less power and thus will not last as long or run all your devices. Then when you buy the solar panels you spend about the same for a less powerful battery. Other units with similar power cost a lot more. When deciding to purchase I also asked a lot of questions from support. I found them to be very helpful. I communicated via email and tended to always get a response same day in the evening, which was very fine with me. 5 |

I have been think to get one of this for my camping trip. mainly to run electric blanket and water boiler and instant pot and things like that while I am out there without the hook up. as well as recharge my camera battery, laptop and other portable electronic devices. One night I saw Jackery is having the 15% sale so I went into B&H to order it but I did not see the sale price here, so I called the customer service department and within 3 minutes i got a price match and order was place. and the product show up about a week later. The Jackery explorer 1000 arrived with 3 layers well protected boxed, yes, 3 layers, first is the inner product package. then a very well made middle layer shipping box, then another strong outer shipping box. I have used the Jackery Explorer 1000 on two trips already and so far it works really good, it takes about 6-7 hours to fully charge it if totally dried, but I normally keep it charging while I am driving so i never run it completely down, I ran a electric blanket one time in my car, and after about 6 hrs of sleep it still have about 60% left. I test it with my small rice cooker and it used about 30% of the battery only. i charge two cell phone always completely dead after a long hike, the indicator says only killed 1% of the battery. I have also try to use that for tire inflator/compressor, small vacuum cleaner, a powersaw, coffee maker........ the lit goes on and on, so far so good, only thing I don't know for sure is how good the battery will be after heavy use for a year. 5 |

Was basically just a fleece blanket with rivet holes, but it works fabulously. :) 5 |

I haven't had the opportunity to use this and hope I don't but it is a good safety blanket to fall back on if I do. 5 |
