This is a well-made, lightweight monopod. It has two fittings to connect to a camera. The foot has a metal tooth to use when needed. I added a rubber cap that I got at a local hardware store for the foot just to keep dirt out. There’s a strap, with compass and snap link that can be removed. It is a great buy for the price and I recommend it for those occasions when you need to steady your camera. I saw one that a friend bought and had to have one. I highly recommend it. 5 |

I only bought this to have as a spare. The metal fittings are now aluminum, rather than chome-plated brass which opens up concerns over electrolysis for those of us that have a habit of leaving our systems together. I'm not sure why Ikelite changed this... perhaps to save weight and cost. Anyway, it's just a spare, but I assume it'll work just fine. Usual great service from B+H including a great option for shipping to Canada. 5 |

I bought the 41" Raja and liked it so much I bought the smaller 26" as well. All of the spokes of the octagon and fittings are all metal. Which is great for portability. I was hoping it would be a suitable replacement for my umbrellas at weddings but it's not quite that portable. However, it does come in a nice soft case to make storing and transport easier. 5 |

The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one.
