Electrical Design Engineer For Guitars

I'm an electrical engineer and work from home and this fit my need s perfectly. I have two networks, one secure network for business and the other for home. This NAS has 4 NICs (2x 10Gbe) and (2x2.5Gbe) which would allow me to manage the NAS for 4 independent networks. I configured it with (5) 4 TB drives configured for RAID 5 and I opted to install two 512 GB Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 512 GB SSDs configured to operate as a cache for the RAID system.

I purchased this because my former battery tester was not providing great results. After talking to my electrical engineer friend, he recommended this unit, especially because it does a load test, which provides a more realistic result of the battery's capability. It tests a variety of battery formats and is easy to use. I am really happy with this tester.

Just for background, I am an electrical engineer. I bought this case to put my multimeters, pliers, tweezers, test leads, screwdrivers, etc. I plan on working in the field and in the lab. This case is the perfect size. It is not too big nor too small. It fits all of my tools perfectly. I love the pick and pluck foam that allows customization. Also, another reason I bought it is for the reinforced padlock slot. Most other cases have a flimsy place to lock your case, why bother? I cannot find anything wrong with this case. I totally recommend this case to anyone and everyone!

This is a great design - it can hold Acoustics and Electric guitars with little chance of them accidentally banging together.

Design Engineer review; Great keyboard. I have used mine daily for 10+ years. I replaced the rechargeable batteries once a few years ago. It has worked with every Windows system in that 10 year time frame. Highly recommend. I called Logitech today (July 2022) and it seems the product is no longer available. I am not sure if any of the other Logitech offerings are as durable and comfortable to use. I wanted to get a 2nd unit, now I will need to look for a used/ refurbished unit.

As a design engineer, I can appreciate when a product is well designed and manufactured. This one is working well and provide excellent leverage for punching multiple pages. I cannot say a single negative word about this product and definitely recommend it.

As an engineer, I have to admire everything about this product from the hardware design to the firmware that drives it, and the user interface software. I have this in a home system, and with the recommended microphone, have flattened my system's response. The only missing feature I would have included, had I designed this unit, would be a tool to time-align the speaker drivers. I popped the top to check out the ICs the designers used, and was pleasantly surprised to see several ICs mounted on the 45 - I've never seen that before. I might have picked lower-noise op-amps too.

It's Electrical Tape!

Lets face it, it's just an electrical switch. Time will tell if it's a well made one. As a piano player I look for a strong weighty design, a noisless up and down travel, (the stops don't click like 'some' do) and enough resistance for it to feel like an acoustic piano sustain pedal. The SP-2 is the best one I've ever found. For the buck, you can't go wrong.
