Electrical Wire And Ethernet Cable Separation

1000 feet is more ethernet cable than I am going to be able to go through in a decade. I guess I could go ahead and wire up my entire house. At the price, it is the way to go for any extended runs because you just can't beat the price per foot with ready-to-go cables. And adding your own connections is not that hard with the right tools.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

I installed it myself. It was quite easy if you have the Ethernet wire available. I get great coverage now in the area that was week.

But still a 5-star product and experience. So the bad: no installation instructions are included, likely to reduce hazards/risks with your home electrical system. An important part of this to note is it REQUIRES a neutral wire. If your home had older electrical wires to the switch box, there may be a chance that the neutral wire (most likely a white wire) is not available, and this switch WILL NOT work without it. However, install is very straight forward if you understand how to safely install into your home electrical system. The switch is not as bulky as some, so there was more than enough room to place it on a 3 switch box/face plate with room to adjust. This is not our first TP-Link smart product, but know that their Kasa Smart App is REQUIRED at least for initial setup. The app is extremely quick with setting up new devices, and this switch is no exception. Our Alexa also instantly identified the new device from the Kasa App and is very quick at turning on/off with voice commands. From unboxing to working with Alexa, it took about 30 minutes to get both switches running. Again, despite the lack of instructions (and the requirement for a neutral wire that your standard switches don’t need/use), amazingly simple quick and efficient product!

This ethernet adapter works with Roku Streambar and you can just add hard wire connection and it works right away after hooked up. No setting required. Besides Roku, it works with most Android devices (with USB C PD passthrough hub) and Windows. It's basic, but it's pretty good due to perfect compatibility

I was looking for a router with mesh points to get read of those no service areas in my town house. I have always had to an Ethernet wire from the downstairs to my Xbox upstairs in order to have good connection. I now no longer need to do this ever since setting up this router. I could not recommend this enough. Connectivity is excellent !
