Electronic Project Kit

I already have one for my acoustic kit, and I'm happy to now have one for my electronic kit!

We have been laying out this project for a few months. How to get 40 years of family photo's into an electronic format. Did a lot of online research and the Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner is the perfect scanner for this project. It is working great.

I have this for my home electronic kit as well as my gigging kit and it makes life so much better! Keeps my phone in place and the adjustability is the best.

When I purchased my TD 25KV electronic drum kit, the folks at B&H added this throne free of charge. DW makes great products and this drum throne is no exception. Great overall quality with plenty of adjustment. Very comfortable if you play for long periods of time. The additional locking feature on the height adjustment keeps the seat at the perfect level all the time. Excellent drum throne!

I use these K92s for studio recording an electronic drum kit. The quick response and frequency range makes for a really authentic acoustic drum sound reproduction. The volume levels are huge which means you could take this into a live, environment even without monitoring. The audio clarity, volume and dynamics easily matches, or out performs some headsets that are priced at 5x the price of the K92. The closed back does prevent a large amount of leakage but they can still be heard significantly enough that they could be picked up by sensitive microphones should you be trying to record acoustic instruments. So could get click track / scratch track bleed into the main mix.

So far I have only used these headphones for an electronic drum kit. I'm no sound engineer but I am pretty picky about sound. To my ears, the sound seems pretty flat, clear and natural. My favorite thing about them is the comfort. After hours of use I forget I have them on. As far as sound isolation they only minimally block ambient sounds. So if you're looking for major isolation they aren't for you. But they do seal well around my ears so with sound running through them it would take a lot to distract you. The cord is plenty long and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter screws on which is nice. I don't have much to compare them to, but I am very happy with my purchase.

I found this xlr in a very old electronic keyboard kit. It's the best cable I've ever used, and now I'm getting more. Many xlr cables I've used coil easily, don't fit in certain connectors, are heavy, feel weird, etc. This one is so awesome, even the connectors on it are heavy duty, but easy to take apart without damaging if you need to shorten the cable. These are great cables, and I won't ever buy another brand.

I prefer to stay with the manufactures batteries for electronic equipment. I this case I suggest, unless this is a replacement battery, that you purchase the kit which is the external charger and battery.   The kit is available from B & H also.   There are equivalent batteries from other manufactures, if going that route, stay with the known branded ones.

I picked this up along with the Flex5. This is going to be used for my portable electronic instruments & my hurricane emergency batteries kit.

I’m building my kit up and went back and forth about buying the 7 stop filter. I’m currently shooting a lot of buildings for a project and need to cut a lot of light. Previously Ive used Tiffens, and there’s nothing wrong with them, but blacks in the image are a lot cleaner. After using this filter for few weeks I’m glad it’s in my kit
