Email Apps For Apple Computers

Fairly easy to set up and transfer data from old Mac to the new Mac. only problem was that a couple of my old apps were no longer compatible with the newer operating system on the new Mac so I had to re-purchase the up to date versions on a couple of my apps.  Also transferring the email app was easy but I had to re-enter the settings on the new Mac for the email to work. Apple Support was helpful and quick in getting that set-up for me in a short phone call.  This Mac Mini is wonderfully fast and easy to use. As a photographer I use Photoshop a lot and the graphics software in the computer are totally up to the standard I require for my professional work.

I have 3 computers. All are running 24/7. My main rig (email/word processing etc)has it's own dedicated monitor but my other 2 which are the faster machines are my photographic server and processing rigs. As I only need to see my photo server display occasionally, I decided to use a KVM switch. I had a Belkin (VGA) switch which I tried. That really was a piece of junk. So I bought this one (from B&H) and it was a breeze to install and so far has performed flawlessly. I have had no problems with Windows 7 updates as reported by another reviewer. Yes it is a little expensive but, guess what, you get what you pay for (most of the time!)

I USE MY MACBOOK PRO AT HOME FOR EMAIL, INTERNET, PHOTOS, ETC. APPLE PRODUCTS ARE SO EASY TO USE AND NO VIRUSES. WHEN I HAD A PC MANY YEARS AGO I WAS CONSTANTLY GETTING VIRUSES. PLUS THE SUPPORT FROM APPLE IS OUTSTANDING. APPLE PRODUCTS COST A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY...WHICH IS PRECISELY WHY B & H IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BUY FROM!

Purchased this primarily for basic tasks like email, surfing the web, writing letters, zoom calls, etc. It's light and thin, boots up okay, but not blazingly fast. Operates nicely and plays well with the other Apple products and Apple integration. I still will use my MBP for the heavy lifting tasks with Capture One and Final Cut Pro X. I do wish Apple would bring back the indicator light that tells you when the battery is charged without having to power the computer on and check the menu bar. I also wish it had more than two USB-C ports. It fits nicely between the iPad and the MBP.
