[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a drive to keep our tax information on, especially since our taxes involve more documentation than the average household. I will say that this seems a whole lot more complex than I was envisioning, especially once I saw the 34-page user guide. It was a bit daunting. It seems like there are 3 passwords total that can be used, one being a recovery password. It sounds like if I use the recovery password, it allows me to reset the main password. I have not purposely tried that method though. I do appreciate the option to have multiple passwords, just in case though. I am a little nervous that I will forget a password and get locked out, but I guess that is the risk I'm taking by having a password protected device. 5 |

I used this to back up my old desktop computer. It was easy to install, and I performed the backup using Windows Backup manager. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to use. I haven't had to access the backup yet, but I took a look at the files and it seems to have been a success. I'm glad to have the peace of mind. 5 |

I was able to backup my entire 250GB harddrive with plenty of room for other storage. I also added a password for protection. Excellent value and outstanding service. 5 |

I bought a pair of these to use as a password/credentials store, with one acting as a backup. This way I can keep my credentials for banking and so forth off my computer except when they are needed. Very happy with the ease of use. Nice product. Build quality seems to be fine. 5 |

I do a lot of filming in the Holy Land and wireless mic systems are not always allowed. This EMC-44B is just what I depend on to maintain the same audio quality as the Sony wireless mic. I've also been a TV journalist for many years and this mic is all we used. Great for the price. 5 |
