For a helicopter DJI Phantom, this was recommended and the employee helped me learn about it while I was trying to eyeball some of the pelican cases. I love these latches! Much easier to use than those on Pelican case, which I use for the cameras. I also love having side latches on the case, and the fact that sides are shaped in a way that keeps latches from sticking outside of the dimensions of the case.Strap-like reinforcements, in line with latches may be just an aesthetic detail, but they look functional. Case feels lightweight but holds shape well and does not flex. I feel like I could safely stand on it's side without cracking it or flexing more than 1/2, at worst, and probably somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2, with my 185 lbs. 5 |
