Very fast. Usually usb 2.0 flash drives more than 8gb are very slow. But this being USB 3.0, even with 32gig capacity, is very fast. I copied an 800mb file and it just took about 12 seconds... Amazing. :)I would have loved it even more if it had a capless design.

Functionally speaking, there's nothing really extraordinary about these flash drives. They work as expected for USB 2.0 drives. They're a pretty good value for the price, though. What I do like is the sliding case, which eliminates the problem of the little caps disappearing. I wish the lanyard hole were a little bigger so I could put a key ring through it; but hey, life isn't perfect -- at least not in this world. I mainly use these drives for operating system installation images. Many motherboards won't boot from a USB 3.x port, making flash drives higher than USB 2.0 a waste of money. In addition, installation images are almost never more than 12GB at most (and usually are much smaller), so these drives are a good size for that mission. My other mission for these drives is as recovery media to boot sickly machines into a recovery environment from which they can be restored from backup. That also has to be done from a USB 1 or 2 port; so again, USB 3.0 flash drives would be a waste of money for that mission.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

Awesome, did the first backup in a fraction of the time required for USB 2.0 hard drives.

The only flash drives that I've had were up to 8gb, enough for some files but not huge ones or in many quantity. Has a feature that encrypts files which is good and for 25gb it took less than an hour. Made of pics, videos, music and documents. It lights up blue going dimming on and off.

Fast, Fast, Fast...even on USB 2.0

Not the fastest, but that's what happens with USB 2.0

Even though there are many higher capacity USB drives available, my Subaru will only support USB 2.0 drives for use in the audio system ports. And this in a 2021 vehicle! It also supports FAT32 but not exFAT. I wanted several drives that I could use in this system and these are super affordable. I bought two packs of three drives.

I was outgrowing my 1 TB external single drives, and it was about time to separate my work projects from my personal. The item arrived quickly, and sported the lovely new electronic smell. Install was a breeze; as I don't have the need for RAID at the moment, I converted the drives quickly to be independent of each other, with one drive making multiple backups of the other. My system doesn't support USB 3.0, so I can't comment on the speed. But I can say USB 2.0 speeds are similar to other external drives, averaging around 20-25 MB/sec, according to the disc tests I ran. 4 months later the drive bay still runs like a charm. It is very quiet, located about 4 feet away from ear shot, and can only be heard when booting up the desktop as the drives spin up. This won't win you any awards for speed if you're doing heavy video processing. For now, it serves my purpose as a drive for my photography business, but I fear as the cameras keep increasing in MP sizes, I may need to update the desktop to either USB 3.0 or something similar, as USB 2.0 is starting to show its age (rendering full size previews of thousands of images can take a long time)!

I was hesitant to purchase a large USB Flash Drive but I realized that carrying 5-6 4GB-8GB Flash Drives was kind of silly.
