Needed this to connect a Ubiquiti G3 camera through a Cisco switch. Works perfectly!

I purchased this to complete my vision on building a mobile Cisco switch room on wheels...this did the trick.  I included some photos on how I modified it to work for me.  I added some L brackets in the back for extra stability and now it is solid and sturdy.

Cisco is a good name in networking solutions and this product is solidly built in a metal casing that is attractive looking as well. For a plug and play network switch this is a great choice. I use it to give me 7 ports for wired devices in my living room off of 1 cat 6 cable that runs back to my wireless router in a back bedroom and it works nicely. Highly recommend if you need a simple to use network switch.

I purchased this switch after my Cisco 200 failed. The MTBF of this switch is outstanding compared to the Cisco, and it has functioned incredibly so far.

I am replacing an aging cisco managed switch and router for a small business and this was perfect for my application. The VLAN tagging in unison with my EdgeRouter Lite was easy to configure after some research online. Pros: Fits my application. Easy to configure through wizards after some research. Cons: Information on configuring VLANS and general setup not included with the switch. Needed to do research online to configure. Unit required firmware updates to get full functional wizards.

Good switch. Easy to set up, and add to the Omada platform. I like the fact that it consumes 40 watts instead of 250 watts that my Cisco 4948 used. If you compare these switches to Cisco, you will be disappointed, but keeping an open mind that it is a different product platform and for a home lab or small business, these are good switches.

I am normally a person that uses enterprise equpment like Cisco, Brocade, etc. Wanting high performance hardware with all the features expected in a professional environment. Getting a consumer switch means giving up a lot in some situations. I just recently upgraded to Wifi 7 and needed a switch for Multi-Gig RJ45 and instead of getting a switch with just enough ports for similar cost, this switch had by far the most 10gb connectivity for the price and it was also managed to allow me to do mose of the basic things I want to do. It runs completly silent, and nice and cool. For the average home this might be expensive but for someone who needs it, they know this is actually pretty cheap.

Using this switch to extend network connections in an old building with limited network wiring. I'm powering a Cisco 1600 series access point from this switch with no problems.

When our Cisco SG200-50 switch died, this is what I chose to replace it and WOW!! It is easy to configure and offers just about every bell and whistle you could want. Ours dovetails with a a UniFi Gateway, 2 UniFi APs and three of their 8 port switches. The POE capacity is amazing and it powers the 2 APs, the 3 switches and our 2 outdoor cameras with ease. UniFi does have a learning curve when it comes to their controller software, but You Tube videos abound on how to learn it. Clearly one of the best investments I've ever made.

This switch was purchased to substitute for a cisco C9300X-24Y-M for the loss of features associated with the cisco switch where made up with purchasing a spare to sit in the rack a ubiquity rps for redundant power and better software on our firewall.
