Bought this for my wife, who needed a new Mac laptop. She primarily uses a computer for browsing the Ethernet, doing Word documents, etc.. She loves the bigger screen and the M2 MacBook Air is pretty snappy for what she does. I loved the price over a MacBook Pro that wasn't needed for her use.In fact I have learned that I don't need the most powerful Mac computer for 95% of my usage. 5 |

I use this device to feed live video from my drone’s HDMI-enable remote into a MacBook Pro, where it is fed to mission critical emergency response software. This newer BMD device has been rock solid in function, and in eliminating the need for another Apple-branded adapter for Type C connectivity, is that much more stable in operability. I use it in RAID 0 with two Hitachi 3T connected to a MacBook Pro to USB3 with UASP enable and I got more than 300 MB/s testing it with Black Magic program. I recommend it. 5 |
