Needed a power backup for my security system. I have the 1500 and the 700 unit and they both perform reliably whenever power goes out. Some people complain about monitoring software, but I haven't had any issues. Windows automatically detects it as a backup battery or you can install Liebert software for a few more options.

Plenty of space, speed, and security. A good price/value. I'm backing up six computers. It's backup software works great. You don't need other backup software.

I own 5 Passport Ultra drives and like them all, and have never had a problem. I also like the look and feel of the drives. The security software is easy to use and is the main reason why I prefer WD drives to all the other manufacturers.

This router exceeded my expectations. I switched from my Tomato router because updating the software became less regular. Having a Synology NAS and being impressed with its Diskstation Manager software and its regular software updates, it made sense to try out Synology Router Manager. It did not disappoint. Accessing the functions of the router is intuitive and not at all cumbersome. Setting static IP reservations is simple and banning connections is straightforward and a three-click procedure. You can monitor connections and even use the apps Safe Access and Threat Prevention to filter what goes through the network. I highly recommend this router. This model was updated recently to work with Synology’s mesh routers as well. If security is a priority for you, upgrade to this router. It’s both easy to navigate and its software gets regular security updates.

I thought It would work with my thunderbolt devices using windows software, but I have security concerns to install third party aplications to make them work if so, if not I would like to read some DIY is posible to make windows use it

This is the first security software beyond Microsoft Defender in quite a while. Today, it popped up a news article about the VA health website being hacked when I went to log in. Older antivirus software seemed to add so much overhead, I could hardly use the computer but this works quietly in the background and I have noticed no impact on speed.

The Bitdefender software is very good and easy to use. and B&H's price and service were also very good. I would recommend both B&H and Bitdefender Total security. I have also purchased camera equipment from B&H in the past and that also worked out well.
