Engineer Chairs Record Studio

Before I got the MyStudio MS20, I was using several random things to take small product shots including chairs, clip lamps, mannequin stands, paper rolls, and all sorts of things just to take photos. It would take me twice as long to gather the my hodge podge studio together than it would to take the shots. Now that I have the MS20 my life is so much easier. I keep my photo studio set up in my office, quickly take my shots, and move on. It is a dream come true!

I'm not a sound engineer. I'm a videographer who usually works alone. This means I need to do camerawork and also run audio for live events. Audio has always been tricky for me, until now. All I have to do is make sure the Zoom F8n Pro is receiving a signal without hiss or crackles. Because it records in 32-bit Float, I can always adjust the levels to sound just right once I get the audio files into my computer. No stress on the day of the shoot. Like, at all. This thing just works. Couple that with the ability to use external NP-L60 batteries via the DC power port, and I can record audio for days on end. 8 XLR ports means I can record my 4 wireless lav mics plus 4 condenser mics at the same time and know that none of the tracks will clip at the top or be too soft at the bottom. It truly is a set-it-and-forget-it type of technology. I couldn't be happier.

This case is great. I'm an engineer and I sometimes travel to record I use this case to protect my microphone and my audio interface. It does a great job at protecting, it came with alot of foam padding and locks up very tight and feel very solid in its construction, although it's a little heavy.

I'm a classical recording engineer and I recently had to fly across the country to record an album. I didn't have a lot of packing space as I was flying so I needed to keep a small footprint. The CAT tails were perfect for the application, I will be using them a lot in the future.

I am a forensic engineer. I use this lens in my work, both in the field and in the lab with studio lighting. I have had the lens for two weeks and have used it on one project that involved field work and studio conditions. The lens does an excellent job of rendering very fine color gradations. I have found that very little correction is needed in Lightroom CC. I have a Zeiss Milvus 35 mm F/2 also. The focusing with the 50 mm is different especially at closer distances and takes some getting used too. The key for me is excellent performance under poor weather conditions with difficult lighting. Six months and 1000 photos from now I will have a better idea about the lens, but it is a keeper.

This mixer was recommended to me by a professional radio engineer for use in my home-based audio studio. It offers flexibility, takes up little space and is easy to use. I am very happy with it.

Husband has worked as a singer-songwriter and studio engineer, and has been looking hard for two years for a portable mike to take on the road, or just for capturing early bits of songs wherever he likes. This great little device from Zoom looked like it might finally fit his standards/expectations. It has not disappointed!! It is very clear, and very detailed in its recording. Download the app and test it out; on raw recording in the living room, it beat garageband hands down. This device hasn't made it into the studio yet, but record/playback on iPhone 6+ was sharp and nuanced. Stays on while plugged into iOS device, so disconnect to save device battery. Husband is SUPER happy with it.
