However, I think it is most effective using it on the edge of your desk/table the loop can fit wires of numerous size and the best thing is the prevents the wires from falling down from the desk. This lid organizer has plenty of storage for camera accessories. It can be attached to the lid of the case either by screws (provided) or by using hook and loop material. It's a very handy add on to have with my case.

I bought a Pelican trunk for a storage solution for college. I wanted to have some way of storing the smaller items so they didn't get crushed and/or damaged by the bigger ones on the bottom and this lid organizer fits the bill. It is a little on the expensive side for an organizer, but it is direct from Pelican, so it is covered on a warranty and is guaranteed to fit the case. If you like to be organized and don't mind spending the extra money, this is a great buy.

Easy to install, and adds valuable extra storage space to Pelican case. You do have to remove the piece of foam in the lid in order to use this organizer, but since I'm not dropping my case out of an airplane, or letting a gorilla play with it, it's not an issue for me. Storing small items in this organizer frees up valuable space in the case for larger equipment. Highly recommended!

If you have a pelican case the lid organizer is a must! So many options and additional storage for manuals, filters, batteries, chargers, memory cards, etc etc etc! Its so nice to have storage for smaller items so you do not have to hunt and search for them in the case itself!

Lid organizer is not perfect but definitely adds considerable storage and organization to the case (which it needs really). The mesh feels a little coarse - maybe a touch cheep. But it certainly is up to the task. The supplied screws do not fit perfectly into any Philips screw driver which makes getting them started in the lid next to impossible. I predrilled small holes in the lid which made installation a 5 minute job (as it should be). There is also nothing to protect the contents of the case from items in the organizer which would have been nice - a 1/4 layer of medium density foam or similar. Easy enough to find but would have been a nice inclusion. In all this organizer adds so much to the storage options of the case. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Got this Pelican lid organizer to increase the storage space in my case. It does what they said it would, it has great build quality, B&H had the best price in Canada (where I live) or the US and I didn't support Amazon. I'd buy another without hesitation. Thanks guys!

This particular size is ideal for traveling. If you are looking for cable storage/organizer then get this case. Fantastic bag. I have always travelled with an external battery for charging my tech on the go and this been a great investment.
