I use this mainly for Acoustic Guitars. The price and sound is very good. I'm getting another set. 5 |

These mics did not astound me. They did not turn my $250 Epiphone acoustic into a $2500 Gibson J45. I did not sound like Frank Sinatra. They did not improve my gas mileage. BUT; they sounded awesome. These are not the Ferrari or Mercedes of the mic world; these are WORKHORSES. They sound rich, thick, syrupy and smooth while sounding clear and articulate. They ROCK on guitar cabs and sound fantastic in blumlein for singer/songwriter in-the-room sound. If you want a $4000 mic that gets used once in a while, this ain't it. If you want a great value on a pair of mics that you'll use on every single session, these babies are it! 5 |

I have a pretty good mic collection, and for my clients I would always try to use my more expensive big name mics for acoustic guitar and similar sources. But for my own projects, I would use the 603S. Then I realized that my acoustic tracks cut with the 603s's always had more presence and clarity than the high dollar mics. Now they are my exclusive go to mics for acoustic guitars. I recently worked on a project with a Grammy nominated producer in Florida where we used the 603s's for acoustic guitars, mandolin and dobro and he was completely blown away by the quality of the sound. And his Grammy nomination was for an acoustic recording.Upon my return to Nashville I immediately sent him a stereo pair as a thank you gift. 5 |

I knew this was good for vocals and acoustic guitars, but I was amazed to hear how good the bass and kick drum came out in recordings with this. It really is a handy kit to have; great for band practice or quickie YouTube videos. I've tried several different mini-stands and this Manfrotto is easily my favorite, both for stability and ease of use. Ditto the clamp. The basic foam windscreen is probably most valuable for it's protective ability, while the dead cat is a must for outdoor recordings. And with the adapter for USB-C we iPhone people don't need to worry about it becoming obsolete. 5 |

The perfect stand for being able to get microphones into the right position and height for acoustic guitars, dobros, mandolins, banjos, squeeze boxes, cello etc. in addition to vocals. Use it in combination with the Atlas boom and this stand becomes the most universal device to cover most needs. 5 |

I've used this on pickups from a number of acoustic instruments: violins, mandolins, guitars, etc. It always has a clean sound and the features I need to enhance the quality (if necessary) like a ground/lift switch, impedance switch for the input (instrument/amp) and a filter switch. Plus it's passive so I don't have to worry about phantom power. I love it! 5 |
