[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver. 5 |

This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision® Flex CO-FH02 Full HD 1080p Smart Portable Projectorprojector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have to say this is my first portable projector and this is coming from an over 50 year old man! You guys have to understand I’m used to those big, bulky heavy boxes that have to be in one spot and for this projector to be brighter than that warehouse box, it’s even great when watching outside in a moderately lit area. My son hooked it up outside just to do a test run just to see how bright it is compared to the light outside and it amazed him! we watched a few YouTube videos on the projector while it being projected on a pink stucco wall, and the color quality was wildly almost correct!! we did nothing it did it by itself so as you can see, I’m very much in love with this thing! 5 |

My previous Epson projector died after about 10 years. It was a 1K (HD) model but still a very good unit. This new projector is so strong with the contrast and the robustness of all the colors and being able to do it even brighter (non cinema mode). 4K is fantastic as it brings so much detail to the entire scene. Testing with Top Gun Maverick revealed a new level of detail in the scenes where you can resolve the small items on shelves in the background of a sceene. I am very happy and look forward to a new decade with this projector. P.S. This projector serves as our daily use video for TV and movies and its primary sources are Apple TV (4K), and HD Cable box (1080i/720p). 5 |

This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-FH02 Full HD 1020p Smart Portable Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test ad review. From delivery to set-up the product was spot on. It came packaged very neat and organized with only the projector, a power cable, two remote controls (one for the projector and another streaming remote) and two auxiliary wires for external plug ins. There were detailed instructions that were clear and concise, for people who use those kinds of things. I opted for the “figure it out way” then if all else fails I will look at instructions. It was so user-friendly that I didn’t need them but because I am beta testing, I did take a look just to ensure the ease of use and it passed the test. I am not what I would consider a tech savvy person so when faced with an install, I’m not usually excited. It was super easy to set-up, plug into the power source then just as easy, plug the Nintendo switch into the HDMI port. Within moments I went from mom to super-mom! The picture quality is awesome, the projector is quiet, and the product is just as described. I would recommend the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-FH02 Full HD 1020p Smart Portable Projector to anyone in the market for a projector. 5 |
