Epson 970 Projector

We have had five Epson and they have all been excellent. The XP-970 is no exception.

I have several Epson products and this is a winner! The set up was so easy and fast.... I am very impressed with how bright the projection is even in full daylight in my studio! Also, the Auto Keystone Correction was great!....Thats a huge plus for me. When I tilt the Projector up, it adjusts the image for the angle....Love that! Another HUGE bonus is the speaker!.....I was shocked at how good it sounds on its own... and that is VERY rare for a small projector. Impressive! The resolution on this projector is quite amazing!.... I projected an image equivalent to about 90 inches wide and it was super clear, and very sharp! I do wish that it had a zoom feature, but thats not a deal breaker at all. The fact that this powerful projector easily fits into a backpack or small luggage is fantastic! I travel alot and will take it on many trips. I do wish that it had more HDMI Ports.... but I can use an external hub. Big plus that I love is the Android feature! I use Android Phones and this will come in handy in so many ways! Overall, this Epson is a WINNER to me....its light weight, sharp, great design and very affordable!...

So I owned the BenQ LK 970 for over 3 years now and have been looking to upgrade. I had my eyes set on this one but was a little skeptical due to it only used the .47 4 K Pixel Shifting chip. I felt like it was a step back from the bigger .65 chip that the Lk 970 used. Also it only had 2600 Lumens vs the 5,000 the LK had as well. Well after using this projector for over a week and already watched 15 4K movies on it I am beyond blown away. This is the sharpest and most color accurate projector I have ever owned. The brightness contrast and clarity is terrific. And comparing the 4K pixel shifting to my JVC NX7 which is a actually real native 4K projector. I can even tell the difference in quality. This is a terrific projector. I’m sure I will enjoy this for years to come.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first projector and I cannot be more impressed. The size is perfect to for taking from place to place (just a little thicker than your average laptop). The projector was easy to setup and I was up and running in minutes. Image quality is superb and the wireless function is one of the best features if this projector, sharing my phone/tablet screen was simple and there was almost no delay between my tablet and what was being displayed. An external speaker is a good idea but not necessary. I will definitely recommend this projector to my colleagues for anyone looking for new or an upgraded experience.

This projector bag is fantastic & is a perfect fit for my new Epson Powerlite Projector. The material is light and yet durable and helps to protect my investment. Also the front pocket holds any cables I need to bring with me when setting up the projector.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Unboxing of the projector provided many useful items I did not expect. It came with multiple cord configurations perfect for traveling on the go. It came with a portable carrying case which was very padded and provides superior protection. The remote itself is good size and has lot of useful functions. Once the projector was unboxed and setup it did have a bit of a challenge installing all the software. You need 2 programs or sets of install to have this function for my use. If you only install the wireless one your computer can not connect to the internet. It did take me some time to troubleshoot and fix this. The quick setup instructions should have been a bit clearer on this. Overall the design and button layout of the projector was great. The size and compactness of the projector is amazing. One of the things I did notice once the projector was turned off is that it almost immediately cooled down, so I didn’t really have to wait to put it away. All in all, I would say this is an outstanding product that I would recommend. A+++

Upon first look this seems to be just another desktop projector – thin and easy to carry, light and nice and bright at 3200 lumens. Streaming video is a little laggy over the wireless, but is crystal clear over the HDMI connection. The Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector is a very powerful, highly portable projector that will address both your personal and professional needs. The options are so numerous that trying to note them all in a single review is impossible, making real user reviews important for people like me when making a purchase. While I did receive this unit free of charge for my review, I truly believe that should you purchase this unit, you will find it as powerful, easy to use and flexible as I have!

I really liked my previous Epson all in one printer and had just restocked my ink supply when the printer declared it was at its end of life. The XP-970 takes the same ink, printed 11 X 17, and otherwise matches my old XP-850 except for the ADF which I rarely uses. So far I am very happy although I preferred the older Epson scanning software which doesn't recognize the new printer.
