Wow what a nice projector, upgraded from Epson 2150. This one is so quiet on medium or eco setting. I can hear the fan on the high setting. I use it on low setting and its still plenty bright. Colors pop. I use mount it with Epson CHF4000 Universal Projector Ceiling Mount.

This projector is Epson's mid level Pro UHD projector. It replaces the Epson Home Cinema 3700 with a few upgrades. This new 3800 has 4k HDR10 and does the full 18gbps @60hz. Its a wonderful value for what you get with 3000 lumens of brightness, 100,000:1 contrast ratio, horizontal and vertical lens shift. Its a great value for its price range.

Upon first look this seems to be just another desktop projector – thin and easy to carry, light and nice and bright at 3200 lumens. Connect the Epson Powerlite 1781W to your PC or laptop via an HDMI cable and now project your content to a much larger audience – but that’s about where the similarities end. Setup the wireless networking and now you can connect wirelessly not only from your PC/laptop, but also from your Android or Apple phone or tablet! Project phones, documents, WEB sites or even your entire phone screen; all without the need to physically connect the device to the projector. Streaming video is a little laggy over the wireless, but is crystal clear over the HDMI connection. The built-in speaker isn’t designed to overwhelm the listener, but it does a good job at recreating audio for a limited listening area. The projector also has the ability to auto adjust the image should the projector be moved. It does a good job and I’ve only had to make small, manual adjustments a few times. The adjustment can be made either on the top pf the projector, or using the handy remote control that comes with the device. The remote doubles as a wireless mouse and you can use it to control presentations with the need to be in front of your PC/laptop. The Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector is a very powerful, highly portable projector that will address both your personal and professional needs. The options are so numerous that trying to note them all in a single review is impossible, making real user reviews important for people like me when making a purchase. Awesome little machine. I used this to power my projector(home cinema projector) and for a whole movie. Wonderful little box of power. I do intend to get the extra battery for it. Awesome piece of kit

It's our first home cinema projector and is meeting or exceeding almost all expectations in terms of quality of picture (not using a screen) and ease of use. One quibble - having trouble connecting Sonos roam speakers via bluetooth.
