Epson Oled Lcd Projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver. 5 |

“This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision® Flex CO-FH02 Full HD 1080p Smart Portable Projector projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” I really like this projector alot!..... I have several Epson products and this is a winner! The set up was so easy and fast.... I am very impressed with how bright the projection is even in full daylight in my studio! Also, the Auto Keystone Correction was great!....Thats a huge plus for me. When I tilt the Projector up, it adjusts the image for the angle....Love that! Another HUGE bonus is the speaker!.....I was shocked at how good it sounds on its own... and that is VERY rare for a small projector. Impressive! The resolution on this projector is quite amazing!.... I projected an image equivalent to about 90 inches wide and it was super clear, and very sharp! I do wish that it had a zoom feature, but thats not a deal breaker at all. The fact that this powerful projector easily fits into a backpack or small luggage is fantastic! I travel alot and will take it on many trips. I do wish that it had more HDMI Ports.... but I can use an external hub. Big plus that I love is the Android feature! I use Android Phones and this will come in handy in so many ways! Overall, this Epson is a WINNER to me....its light weight, sharp, great design and very affordable!... 5 |

This is my first OLED display, and it is something that can't be compared to LCD displays. The blacks are great and colors really pop. It was easy to setup with good packaging (had a protective film on the screen to avoid scratching). 360Hz refresh rate is silky smooth. If you are more of a competitive gamer, I would recommend this version over the 32in 4k as that is much harder to drive. I am glad this version can receive firmware updates unlike the MAG version as there is currently a bug when switching to HDR with sRGB preset on. Hopefully, this will be fixed in the near future. 5 |

It is unfair to compare this product to my previous screen (a 15 y/o Aquos) but it is certainly an upgrade to go from an LCD screen to this OLED model. I generally like the Google TV system. I do not like the motion smoothing features of any sort because they seem *overly* natural, and I think this tends to undermind the style of the camera work, oddly. The annoying part is that I seem to have to turn it off when I encounter a new app or configuration -- I can't just say "I don't want this ever". Nevertheless, the screen resolution and color definition are fantastic, so on the whole I find it to be an excellent product. 5 |

There is a crispness with an OLED monitor vs LCD, and I love it! love the functionality of smallhd, works great with my sony A7III rig! SmallHD also has great customer service! 5 |

I've used other smallHD monitors (FOCUS LCD), and really like the crispness of the OLED. Easy to use, configure, and personalize. The ability to power through a dummy battery is great and I use it all the time with the correct accessories, as it consolidates the batteries I have carry, reduces the possibility of camera overheating. 5 |

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first projector and I cannot be more impressed. The size is perfect to for taking from place to place (just a little thicker than your average laptop). The projector was easy to setup and I was up and running in minutes. Image quality is superb and the wireless function is one of the best features if this projector, sharing my phone/tablet screen was simple and there was almost no delay between my tablet and what was being displayed. An external speaker is a good idea but not necessary. I will definitely recommend this projector to my colleagues for anyone looking for new or an upgraded experience. 5 |

This projector bag is fantastic & is a perfect fit for my new Epson Powerlite Projector. The material is light and yet durable and helps to protect my investment. Also the front pocket holds any cables I need to bring with me when setting up the projector. 5 |

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Unboxing of the projector provided many useful items I did not expect. It came with multiple cord configurations perfect for traveling on the go. It came with a portable carrying case which was very padded and provides superior protection. The remote itself is good size and has lot of useful functions. Once the projector was unboxed and setup it did have a bit of a challenge installing all the software. You need 2 programs or sets of install to have this function for my use. If you only install the wireless one your computer can not connect to the internet. It did take me some time to troubleshoot and fix this. The quick setup instructions should have been a bit clearer on this. Overall the design and button layout of the projector was great. The size and compactness of the projector is amazing. One of the things I did notice once the projector was turned off is that it almost immediately cooled down, so I didn’t really have to wait to put it away. All in all, I would say this is an outstanding product that I would recommend. A+++ 5 |

“This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review." The Epson 1781W is a well rounded, thin-and-light projector, with good brightness and resolution, very good data and video image quality, and a wide range of connectivity choices. One of its few shortfalls is that as an LCD-based projector, it cannot project 3D content, which you can find in many portable WXGA data projectors such as the ViewSonic PJD6544w. But that only matters if you need to project in 3D. For its winning combination of features and performance at a reasonable price, the Epson PowerLite 1781W Wireless WXGA 3LCD Projector is our latest Editors' Choice ultra-light WXGA data projector. 5 |
