Epson Printer For Volume Envelopes Black Direct Thermal

Consistant results using the Epson light light black on my Epson P800 printer.

I print greeting cards of various kinds for retail outlets and direct sales using an Epson 1900 printer. These cards provide the quality I need in the right size. Since I want to give people the option of re-using my cards by framing them, the archival feature is important to me. It is very easy to run them through the printer a second or third time for labels, greetings, etc.

If you have an Epson 3880 printer, you will know the inkset well. I use the Advanced Black and White mode a lot for B&W prints, and the printer is still working extremely well for me. In ABW the linearity is excellent, prints beautifully and can differentiate very low levels of gray from black. The newer inksets from Epson and Canon report even better black density with higher Dmax, and if that is your holy grail you can go that way or off the deep end loading third party inks and struggling with profiling accuracy. But I bought the 3880 for the then-remarkable and still-respectable longevity of the pigment inks, and it continues to be reliable and clog free, it feeds paper well and it wastes much less ink than modern desktops, so I have not replaced it.

I use it for both color and black/white images on an Epson printer. Terrific results.

The R2880 is an excellent printer for low volume work. The ink is expensive but provides excellent prints. It's a pity Epson no longer supports it the driver is very clumsy but for the particular use I make of it it will do

Love this paper. It works best with Matte Black ink. I use an Epson 7800 printer.

Double matte paper with matching envelopes...excellent repro for black and white image and color text...very satisfied with output and more economical than commercial printers...but you do have to print both sides separately...so is time consuming if you print a lot...Helps to have pdf set up to print.
