Epson Projector Brightness Flicker

2024-08-25 03:21:43

Very compact and easy setup. The case with all three is a bit of a beast. Have to workout more. At first start up, one of the lights flickered when I had both battery and line power connected. I turned unit off and removed the battery and then no flicker. So I replaced the battery and left the line power and so far no further problem with flicker. Must be care on installment of line power connector, if not fully seated, the light will not work.  There is a small flicker when changing the brightness so don't expect to use these if you want to shoot a scene while caring the brightness.   Other than that, they are great. Exactly what I needed.  ie: Love the barn doors and ability to install a diffuser quickly.

Great monitor, easy to adjust. Love the resolution, has a wide range of brightness which I use at about 45%. Flicker free when set above 60hz refresh rate. So far I have no complaints. I am using it along with my ASUS ProArt PA248 monitor

“This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision® Flex CO-FH02 Full HD 1080p Smart Portable Projector projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” I really like this projector alot!..... I have several Epson products and this is a winner! The set up was so easy and fast.... I am very impressed with how bright the projection is even in full daylight in my studio! Also, the Auto Keystone Correction was great!....Thats a huge plus for me. When I tilt the Projector up, it adjusts the image for the angle....Love that! Another HUGE bonus is the speaker!.....I was shocked at how good it sounds on its own... and that is VERY rare for a small projector. Impressive! The resolution on this projector is quite amazing!.... I projected an image equivalent to about 90 inches wide and it was super clear, and very sharp! I do wish that it had a zoom feature, but thats not a deal breaker at all. The fact that this powerful projector easily fits into a backpack or small luggage is fantastic! I travel alot and will take it on many trips. I do wish that it had more HDMI Ports.... but I can use an external hub. Big plus that I love is the Android feature! I use Android Phones and this will come in handy in so many ways! Overall, this Epson is a WINNER to me....its light weight, sharp, great design and very affordable!...

I still love my Epson 710HD and have used a couple of knock-off bulbs for the past 2 years. I am on year 8 with my projector and after the original lamp dimmed out, I tried 4 bulbs from the Big A online store. 1 arrived DOA and I successfully returned it for credit. The 2nd would flicker occasionally, so I emailed seller who said they would send a replacement - but they never did. So if you try a knock-off, make sure it has Free Returns on the description and simply return immediately it if you have a problem. I read about several knock-off bulbs exploding in people's projectors and other problems. So I, a tight-wad by nature, finally decided to get the REAL bulb. Before I ordered it, I contacted Epson for clarification on the 90 day warranty - it took half a dozen emails to them but finally got a reply saying they warranty it to not die, be dim, or flicker for 90 days. . . and if there is an issue, they would replace it. Here is the quote: If you were to purchase the lamp through B&H Photo, who is one of our authorized resellers, we will absolutely honor the warranty. B&H's policy is that if a lamp fails either immediately after it has been installed or anytime thereafter during the 90 day warranty period, that you contact us for the exchange for a replacement, which we would be happy to provide. Notice that you contact Epson, not B&H. Also, the Epson rep never directly answered my question about cross-shipping or sending a new one before I return the defective one. Anyway, I am now on day 20 and the bulb has worked flawlessly (about 2 hours a day). I do notice that the cooling fan runs a bit louder, but that is probably because the original lamp is a bit brighter (even in ECO mode). If I can get the 3 years of use like I did the original, I'll be happy.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first projector and I cannot be more impressed. The size is perfect to for taking from place to place (just a little thicker than your average laptop). The projector was easy to setup and I was up and running in minutes. Image quality is superb and the wireless function is one of the best features if this projector, sharing my phone/tablet screen was simple and there was almost no delay between my tablet and what was being displayed. An external speaker is a good idea but not necessary. I will definitely recommend this projector to my colleagues for anyone looking for new or an upgraded experience.

This projector bag is fantastic & is a perfect fit for my new Epson Powerlite Projector. The material is light and yet durable and helps to protect my investment. Also the front pocket holds any cables I need to bring with me when setting up the projector.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Unboxing of the projector provided many useful items I did not expect. It came with multiple cord configurations perfect for traveling on the go. It came with a portable carrying case which was very padded and provides superior protection. The remote itself is good size and has lot of useful functions. Once the projector was unboxed and setup it did have a bit of a challenge installing all the software. You need 2 programs or sets of install to have this function for my use. If you only install the wireless one your computer can not connect to the internet. It did take me some time to troubleshoot and fix this. The quick setup instructions should have been a bit clearer on this. Overall the design and button layout of the projector was great. The size and compactness of the projector is amazing. One of the things I did notice once the projector was turned off is that it almost immediately cooled down, so I didn’t really have to wait to put it away. All in all, I would say this is an outstanding product that I would recommend. A+++

“This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review." The Epson 1781W is a well rounded, thin-and-light projector, with good brightness and resolution, very good data and video image quality, and a wide range of connectivity choices. One of its few shortfalls is that as an LCD-based projector, it cannot project 3D content, which you can find in many portable WXGA data projectors such as the ViewSonic PJD6544w. But that only matters if you need to project in 3D. For its winning combination of features and performance at a reasonable price, the Epson PowerLite 1781W Wireless WXGA 3LCD Projector is our latest Editors' Choice ultra-light WXGA data projector.

“This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review." Upon first look this seems to be just another desktop projector – thin and easy to carry, light and nice and bright at 3200 lumens. Connect the Epson Powerlite 1781W to your PC or laptop via an HDMI cable and now project your content to a much larger audience – but that’s about where the similarities end. Setup the wireless networking and now you can connect wirelessly not only from your PC/laptop, but also from your Android or Apple phone or tablet! Project phones, documents, WEB sites or even your entire phone screen; all without the need to physically connect the device to the projector. Streaming video is a little laggy over the wireless, but is crystal clear over the HDMI connection. The built-in speaker isn’t designed to overwhelm the listener, but it does a good job at recreating audio for a limited listening area. The projector also has the ability to auto adjust the image should the projector be moved. It does a good job and I’ve only had to make small, manual adjustments a few times. The adjustment can be made either on the top pf the projector, or using the handy remote control that comes with the device. The remote doubles as a wireless mouse and you can use it to control presentations with the need to be in front of your PC/laptop. The Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector is a very powerful, highly portable projector that will address both your personal and professional needs. The options are so numerous that trying to note them all in a single review is impossible, making real user reviews important for people like me when making a purchase. While I did receive this unit free of charge for my review, I truly believe that should you purchase this unit, you will find it as powerful, easy to use and flexible as I have!
