Epson Projector Hdmi Port Not Working

Im currently using this for a projector setup. I have this plugged into Kopul 4-port HDMI switch box via the HDMI. The Kopul is connected to my FIOS, a COMPUTER, my DVD Player and Mini HDMI device. All devices are switched through th Kopul and HDMI out to the this Extender to a Projector via Aprox. a 50ft Cat5e run. This product does its job great so far and connectivity was easy.

Works Perfect for a three screen projector setup running Propresenter w/ the Multi Screen module. Looked at all the different configurations of this product and this one with the display port in/out is by far the best. Purchased display port to hdmi cables for the outs which I ran into a hdmi to sdi converter (DataVideo DAC-70) , and ran sdi to the projectors because it's a long distance and didnt want to loose any signal/quality. At the end of the sdi run we use another converter box (ESYNIC SDI to HDMI Converter) that goes from SDI back to hdmi, and then we ran that hdmi into the projector input. The computer we are using with this is the new 2017 iMac w/ the Thunderbolt/usb-c ports only as outs (like the new MacBook Pro's). One thing we learned is that we had to use a DisplayPort to thunderbolt/usb-c CABLE and NOT a adapter to hoop up the TH2G to the computer. Adapters won't work, so get a cable with the two different ends instead. Lastly don't forget to download the correct driver from Matrox to get this to work properly. This is perfect for my projector that I own that has an HDMI port much neater looking then trying to use a 6ft HDMI when the laptop is right next to the projector. No more mess and easier to wrap and store away for event setups. The quality is just as good as a more expensive cable. If you need great quality cable but without breaking the bank then this cable is for you!

The projector worked flawlessly. It took a while to get the laptop setup to work with the HDMI port. Especially like the small size and brightness.

I have used this cable as well as a HDMI cable with and Epson projector I purchased for personal use. I didn't notice a difference as far as display with a powerpoint or regular dvd movie. Quality contruction. Would buy again

I have tested this adaptor with a different combination of computers, monitors and projectors without any big issues. The adapter comes in a small box the size of a cell phone but the thickness of two. The box is very difficult to open and the adapter sits in a flimsy tray within the box. The packaging was all wrecked removing the adaptor for the first time. The adapter has a VGA port on one side and the other side has a 3.5mm audio port, HDMI cable and Micro USB-B port. The adaptor says that is doesn't require any power so I am unsure why it has a USB port on. There are no included instructions in the box, on the box or on the web site to provide more information. When I first connected this adaptor to my computer I was shocked how quickly it was working. If I connected the HDMI port first to my computer then almost instantly of connecting a monitor the video and sounds were working. If I connect the VGA cable first, then audio and video start within 3 to 4 seconds as does any normal HDMI monitor. The sound and picture from this dongle were crisp, clear and without any delay. When I first played copy protected content (i.e. Netflix) the dongle stopped working and I had to disconnect then reconnect and it started working again. I have not been able to reproduce this issue since but I thought it would be worth noting. This adaptor starts working very quickly. I had doubts about converting HDMI to analog but my mind has been changed since using this adaptor. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

I have a gtx 980, It comes with 1 DVI port, 1 HDMI port and 3 Displayports. To get surround working on 3 monitors i needed to get an adapter from Displayport to DVI. This was the adapter I bought. It works flawlessly and I couldnt be happier with it. B&H was very fast on shipping my adapter out, I had it only 2 days after i submitted the order!

Purchased to connect a new computer with a HDMI port to my existing monitor with a DVI connection. It is working flawlessly so far.
