Epson Projectors Laser Vs Led

I did my homework before settling on this projector. I was looking at 3 price points. Low ($1200), Mid ($3000), High ($6000). For the High I wanted the Sony entry laser projectors (but I think this one is even better than the entry laser projector from what I read in professional reviews). This project was at the high end of the Mids but after reading many reviews from AV professionals, when they say that this is their favorite projector and another said that the picture is almost as good as the Sony $40K laser projectors I had to try it out. And it does not disappoint. Everything that you think and expect in a great image, it has. I run at a medium bulb power and it looks awesome (in a dark room). Just read the pro reviews and you will settle on this one for the price point. I was not a fan of pixel shifting or DLP but this projector won me over.

This is the best bang for the buck laser projector on the market. After using lamp projectors in my home theater room I’m very impressed with the cinema experience of this laser projector. Great blacks and plenty of settings to customize it to your room. I was tired of lamp degradation and tired of lamp replacement. No more slowly dimming movies. I can set the brightness to my favorite setting and enjoy it for years.

I've been using projectors for years now and it's incredible how far the technology has come. I found this very neat laser projector and it works great. I can project a 150 inch screen from almost up against the wall and the image quality is great. I'm not going to lie, the picture is slightly dim on very bright days (I have a very sunny living room), but not enough to bother me. I use my FireStick to watch my shows and it's super easy.

So far I haven't seen anything better in this size. It works well and it has almost all sort of connections available on the market. Meaning that it has a very flexible application area - even its still a sort of gadget. The LED system is definitely here to stay. I have used projectors for the past 15 years and the only negative comment has always been the relatively short lamp life. With LED its history. It surpass my overall expectations, but isn't near another LED pocket projector I recently bought: The Samsung P410M, which is incredible for home theater use. The Optoma wins on its outstanding mobility and ease of use. The picture quality and colors are good, but it has to be kept in the relatively dark and beam on something sufficient, even it will show a usable picture on most surfaces. Unfortunately there is a lack of small portable screens for pico type projectors - still. I primarily use one of the smaller white boards, which makes it possible to write comments or sign during presentations. Battery life is a little short, but its probably what it is in this size. Get yourself a 16GB micro SD card for it.

I use particular case to hold LCD projectors, Led Lights and groups of Laptops. I never worry about the safety of the equipment stored inside. Having wheels allows for easy transport.

Love this pen! Writes great, and I use both the LED and green laser just about every day.

Compared to Epson projectors, this is a superior model. Precise imaging and really bright. Well worth extra cost.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first Epson projector though I own a few LED projectors that are not nearly as good. The Epson Powerlite 1781W is more than half the size and weight than my other projectors. It is similar to the thickness of an older laptop. One thing that totally "Wow's me" is the auto fitting to the screen. My older projectors need to be lined up perfectly and the only corrections possible were manual focus and keystone correction, with the Epson projector a simple one touch automatically fits it to the screen. The brightness and color accuracy is amazing. Even in a lit room you can read or watch what is on the projector. My old projectors only worked in a dark room. The fan is somewhat noisy as is common with all similar projectors. The sound is not that loud so I use it with an external speaker for clear crisp sound. It comes in a carrying case making it easy for travel and demonstrations. The app makes it easy to control content from your smartphone straight to the projector. If you are looking for a high quality projector that produces clear images, has quick setup and is portable this a clear winner. My only recommendation is to bring an external speaker for better sound.

I was considering a few different projector options but decided to go with the Epson as I am quite sensitive to rainbow effect with DLP projectors. I have no regrets going with this model. Set up and alignment were very easy, it looks great and it is easily bright enough to run in eco mode full time except when the room is very brightly lit. I have tried doing some light gaming with it and the response time is totally fine. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a home projector.

This is a review for the Epson EF-11 Laser Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have had a few different projectors. The first two thoughts that popped in my mind during set up were (1) how compact and lightweight the projector is and (2) the stunning image quality. Pros The setup took less than 2 minutes. Pairing a phone or connecting the HDMI was smooth and quick. The video and image qualities are extremely sharp, even from afar. Adequate HD audio quality which is surprising for a small projector. Does not generate extreme heat like my old projectors. For a lightweight projector, constructions seem high quality. Cons I mistakenly inserted 128 GB USB Drive for my test, which seems to be too much for this projector. A lesser capacity USB Drive worked fine. So this does not concern me. We watched a few movies and videos with popcorn and loved it.
