Epson Projectors Vertical Refresh Rates

Sharp images and refresh rates are great!

This was so easy to pair with my Mac mini. The color, resolution, and refresh rates are fantastic.

I was using an rx580 gpu with amd phenom 965 cpu. Refresh rates were topped at 75 and bottlenecking. I upgraded to ryzen 5 and its like the rx 580 came alive, refesh up to 165. True I upgrade from old proccesor, but Cinebench liked its Ryzen 5 scores

I really like this monitor, I was kinda skeptical about high refresh rates until I saw what 170hz looked like - though I don't run it at that refresh rate outside of games as it's needlessly power hungry. The picture looks great, my partner uses the monitor as well for some light photo editing, and the results have been great. One thing to keep in mind about this monitor is that apparently the pixel layout is brg instead of rgb, at first the text looked awful on it. I looked this up and found some instructions on how to update cleartext on Windows and now it looks a lot better.

Works fine. I don't need resolution or refresh speed. Just using as a Vesa mount vertical for reading code and it works fine.

Prefer the finish to Epson's luster paper. Don't understand why Epson rates it as 4 star Premium rather than 5 star Ultra Premium.

Compared to Epson projectors, this is a superior model. Precise imaging and really bright. Well worth extra cost.

This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first Epson projector though I own a few LED projectors that are not nearly as good. The Epson Powerlite 1781W is more than half the size and weight than my other projectors. It is similar to the thickness of an older laptop. One thing that totally "Wow's me" is the auto fitting to the screen. My older projectors need to be lined up perfectly and the only corrections possible were manual focus and keystone correction, with the Epson projector a simple one touch automatically fits it to the screen. The brightness and color accuracy is amazing. Even in a lit room you can read or watch what is on the projector. My old projectors only worked in a dark room. The fan is somewhat noisy as is common with all similar projectors. The sound is not that loud so I use it with an external speaker for clear crisp sound. It comes in a carrying case making it easy for travel and demonstrations. The app makes it easy to control content from your smartphone straight to the projector. If you are looking for a high quality projector that produces clear images, has quick setup and is portable this a clear winner. My only recommendation is to bring an external speaker for better sound.
