It did take 20-30 minutes to get up and running and software downloads, registration and updates took some time before the scanner was ready to go. The scanner’s performance is where it truly shines. I will have to say this Epson printer is my new favorite. I currently own a Brother laser printer and while it's speedy, it doesn't have all the features this Epson printer does! For one, it lacks the wireless printing capabilities. It also doesn't have a scanner! One thing I had always wanted is to be able to print documents straight from my phone. And now I can! AND I don't even have to be nearby to do so. I was worried I wouldn't be able to utilize it with my iPhone without AirPrint but I was wrong. Setting up was easier than expected! I popped in the CD, and followed all the instructions which were super easy. I love that it gives the option to print out a test page. I have a Windows desktop and I also have a MacBook Air. I love that the instructions also made a note on how to download the software for those that lack CD drives. I will have to say it took less than 10 mins to install in both computers to printing out the test page. It was just that quick! The quality of the prints and scans are clear and easy to read. The ink is a deep color and it dries very quickly. I haven't noticed any smudging or fuzziness. I will happily choose to use this Epson printer over my Brother printer over and over. One thing I do like but others may not is that the printer makes a little bit of a loud sound while it's printing. I can hear it from across the room. But I love it! It assures me that my documents have printed when I want them to. A con I will mention is that I wish the opening to grab the papers was facing the same way as the small screen. It feels awkward pulling the sheets in the opposite direction. I was sent this printer to test and review. I am a graphic designer and photographer and have over a decade of experience with expensive Epson printers. As a matter of fact I go thru so many of them each year due to them just simply wearing out that I was a little skeptical about even trying this printer for business use but I put it to the test! The first thing I noticed is how large this printer was, a lot larger than my laser printer. Setup was not easy and my preferred method via USB would not work. I had to end up connecting via wireless router. I normally print full color images and wireless always takes a long time, this printer was no exception. However, the print quality was incredible especially with these pigment inks! I will attach a photo of a client's Blu-ray insert I did as well as a photo from my photography on photo paper. The colors are much deeper and more true to screen than the pigment inks I have been using. I also noticed the paper came out dry whereas other inks need a little time. There are many presets and customizable options which is a nice feature. For the price of this thing I would definitely buy it. I also like the waste ink cartridge that you can replace! The paper trays are great if you use different sizes and you can print up to 13''x19'' and since it is pigment, the prints will last much longer than dye ink. I had a chance to test out the Burris Thermal Riflescope at a range next to a pile of other thermal scopes (Pulsar, ATN, etc). The BTR outperformed all the other products in terms of refresh rate and ease of use. It was right at the top level of image quality and it had features that I wouldn't hunt without like HOT TRACK. I had my mindset on Burris and then I found out the price point, I can practically buy two of these for one of any other lower-performing competitor.

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

I received the package a day after the actual delivery. It is worth to wait for the Epson Printer and I am very excited to use it for my work and see the outcome of my work with the use of my new Epson Printer. It is very easy to Install and being a wireless it makes it more comfortable to make more printing without getting back and forth to operate the printer and it is also make a lot hassle free to connect all the wirings from the printer to my laptop. I received the EcoTank Photo ET-8500 Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer a few days ago and I have been using it to test it, the configuration was very simple, following step by step the instructions that the printer screen said, configure my Smart phone by downloading the “Epson Smart Panel” app and from my cell phone I can print or do anything with the printer, which is amazing and easy. The ink for the EcoTank system is supplied in bottles equipped with a specific valve that prevents the ink from spilling or staining, even if they are accidentally tipped over. It's simple and Epson thought of everything to make our work easier. The quality of the prints are AMAZING, I was even able to print photos on a glossy photo paper and it looks like they were printed by a professional, I am very happy with this printer. It arrived sooner than my text message said it would. I was so excited to unbox it. It was delivered right to my front door, I signed for it and was very surprised how light weight it was. I started to unpack the Epson printer (ET-8500/ET-8550). Please make sure to read ALL instructions before beginning anything. ***Don't turn Printer Off during this entire process or you will have to start all over** You may need a USB cable just case, it is not included. I am not that text savy but I was able to follow the instructions and uploaded the app. I was very surprised how easy it was. The app will walk you through a very friendly smart panel setup. Once it located my printer it was ready for next step ink initializtion. It will guide you step by step. It can be used wired or wireless. Easy to fill ink cartridges. You will need paper to test the printer may 6 to 10 pages. After system setup is completed you are to start using it ASAP.
