As a long time user of KRK and Yamaha studio monitors -,I was blown away by the Sound reproduction of the 8010s! ..These little marvels have now replaced both my Yamaha HS5 and KRK rockit 5”s as my go to mixing monitors for music and film projects .,, could not be happier .. 5 |

This TRS cable is perfect for my Radio transmission uses. I use these to feed the EQ to the Mixer and also use these to feed my studio monitors. Great cables, no interference. 5 |

I have been using a pair of Tannoy Reveal monitors in my home studio for the last 20+ years, but to get decent frequency response I needed to use a 15 band graphic EQ and a Rane frequency analyzer... comes with a reference mic and a pink noise generator -- you try to adjust the EQ while watching the LEDs bounce up and down and adjust each band until the frequency response looks flat. I always had to tweak the EQ setting (maybe defeating the purpose) to make them sound more natural. Then I decided to upgrade my monitors. I went to the B&H store in NYC and listened to half a dozen, including Genelec, Yamaha, and others. I finally bought the Focal Alpha 65 EVO, which sounded the richest and yet were half the price of the Genelec 5. Bringing them home, they sounded much better with no EQ than the Reveals did with no EQ, but not as good as the EQ'd Reveals. I wanted to make sure I wasn't coloring the sound. So I bought the Sonarworks Reference 4 item. Well, it worked great. It comes with a very sturdy-looking reference mic. It was fairly easy to set up, it acquired sound points from about 36 spots in my listening area, and it took me about an hour to create a detailed frequency response curve. It has an application (and a plug in) that automatically corrects your computer's monitor sound output to flatten the speaker response. It seems to work great! The Focal monitors were fairly flat except for a peak at around 150 Hz, which the Sonarworks flattened, without having to resort to a graphic EQ. Unfortunately there's quite a bit of falloff below 100 Hz that I can measured, so beware... you will need a subwoofer with these monitors if you want to mix music. However, for general audio projects they would be a great addition to any studio. 5 |

The Avantone CLA-200 Studio Reference Amplifier is easily the best purchase I made all year. I own a pair of Yamaha NS 10M Studio Monitors and for years I just used random amplifiers to power them. I decided this year to invest in a better quality amplifier to improve the overall sound quality of my Monitors. After weeks of research And reading countless reviews I decided to go with the CLA-200. I must say the shipping was immediate and I received the new amplifier the very next day after ordering. I can't stress how impressed I was with the sound quality the CLA-200 brought to my NS-10's. The clarity and the frequency response was just amazing. I highly recommend the CLA-200 for any and all Yamaha NS10 users. You won't be disappointed! 5 |

I bought these stands for my studio's Yamaha HS8 monitors. They are great at holding the monitors in the air, in line with my ears, where I can hear them. They have locking pins in case the pressure knobs should fail. I don't have a problem with them wobbling or tipping because I don't bump into them. That's really the secret- be a reasonable human. After all, you just spent a lot of money on those monitors and stands! Don't run around your studio, don't record groups of small children (I'm talking about you Kidz Bop), make sure your mountain of blow is on the other side of the room, etc.- all the basic safety precautions a normal human would take when using expensive technology. These stands hold up your 8 monitors and do not fall down. 5 |
