Ergonomic Counter Height Desk Chair

I searched for days for a standing desk that was higher than counter height. This was the only one I found. Lucky for me the quality has been excellent, sturdy, and it was affordable! One of the bolts wasn't bored out for tightening, but we handled that. We're thinking of buying another one because my husband wants to stand and work too. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to sit less and keep their posture while working. Great product!

This helps get your microphone stand up off the counter top of your desk.

This can mount to about anything (c-stand, desk, chair, tripod leg) you name it. Super sturdy!

This mic stand is solid and the height is perfect for a desk.

Love how ergonomic and adjustable the monitor stand is. My monitor Looks like it's levitating on my desk.

This clamp can hold a 580EX II wherever you want, like in a door, a desk, a chair, a pipe, a shelf... It stays in the position you left it and you don't have to adjust it all the time. I use it to hold a 580EX II controlled by another one in my 50D

I was looking for a new 24 display with better ergonomic adjustments. The height and tilt adjustments allow me to get a more comfortable viewing position. I've been suffering from dry eyes lately so I wanted to try the blue light filter. I'm not sure yet if it really works - my ophthalmologist says it's just a marketing gimmick - but I figured it can't hurt to have it, and it wasn't a big premium over monitors without it. I do appreciate the rest reminder feature helping you to focus away from the screen at adjustable intervals. Sure you can set up an ongoing timer on your phone for that purpose but that's a nice feature to have. I have not played much with the different viewing modes yet but it's good to have them. I'm not a hard-core graphics designer but I enjoy viewing and editing my pictures so I will probably use the Scenery and sRGB mode a lot. I also like the thin bezels and the real (not touch-sensitive) buttons for the OSD menu. The only thing I disliked at first was the I/O ports being vertical instead of horizontal, therefore more difficult to access, but once past the initial setup it's no longer an issue. As usual, B&H had the lowest price for this monitor, and they delivered promptly!

I have two of these now, good counter parts to the Heavy/Light stand which basically a c-stand with light stand legs. These are about half the price and half the weight with a much smaller footprint. The lights I use them for are only about 12lbs, which I like to always overshoot my weight that way I know they'll be stable at max height (the swaying of lights 9 feet in the air makes me nervous) Because they are fairly light for their height and weight limits you'll want to sand bag these cause they do easily slip around on the smooth floor.A little bigger then what you might find in a packaged light kit, but I would definitely choose these if building your own kit as your general purpose light stands. If you don't need the height and weight capacity the matthews reverse stands and a great way to save space and weight, but their costs are close to each other $ bucks I think

As several others have pointed out, the knees get weaker as we all get older. I measured my chair seat height, but against the notations of others here, I went with the 22 inch height vs. the 18 inch height, thus putting my hips a bit above my knees, which makes it easier to stand. But I also purchased a second chair for a slightly shorter friend. Supports my weight well, and honestly, if you are 18 or much older, having a place to sit for long stretches beats standing for hours. I would rate this as an essential, mandatory piece of photo support equipment! And it's kind of fun to get envious looks from people left standing!
