This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This standalone portable scanner is one of the best I have used. It is quick and compact in size. I love the Wi-Fi ability to scan right to your computer or phone. The size of the unit is a major plus. It doesn’t take up any room on my desk and is highly portable. Initial setup of the scanner can be tricky but after the setup the scanner works without a glitch. This is a well-made device worth having and I will get much use out of it.

I was skeptical about it being fast, but it blew me away. This scanner ran through a stack of business receipts in seconds, and then came the contracts in the file cabinet, those were scanned and the cabinet emptied in minutes! The scanner proved to be great! The only downsides I can think of are just small ones. You have to download the drivers and software as they are not included in the box, and there is nothing to catch the scanned documents, so don't have it sitting on the edge of a desk or table.

It came in packed in a very impressive box, a lot smaller than I expected. The unit was packed very well. After unpacking this, it took just a very small space and being wireless I could place it anywhere I wanted. I had a little trouble finding the download on the website, so it took me awhile to get this up and running. Once connected, I chose the wireless version, I was impressed with the way it operated. The scanner is fast, with crystal clear page scans, and extremely easy to use. I own another well known brand and Epson leaves a smaller footprint, and is much nicer to use.

Now that we got that bit out of the way, let's talk about this great portable scanner. I travel for work and visit many trade shows and meet with many customers and prospects. If you're in the sales biz or are a decision maker in your organization, you know that your pockets are full of business cards and your briefcase is full of collateral after a day at the trade show or conference. I've tried many different apps and other portable solutions for card scanning that were either slow, temperamental when connecting with my laptop, or had poor quality scans. I'm happy to say that those dark days are behind us with the Epson ES-300W. Not only does it scan in varying DPI that you choose, but it does single pass duplex scanning and does it very quickly. I was quite surprised the 1st time I scanned some docs how quickly it was complete. Business cards are scanned quickly and also in full duplex. I was also able to scan receipts for my expense reports quickly and easily. The scanner can be connected either via USB or wifi. It has an internal battery that lasts for over a day (by my testing) and can also draw power via USB. I usually connect up via USB while at the booth and leave the power brick in the hotel room for sustained scanning sessions. If you need a fast and capable duplex scanner, the Epson ES-300W won't steer you wrong.

I have owned several scanners in the past and this one has got to be one of the best. The size is perfect for easy portability and the wireless function allows you to scan whenever you are connected to wifi. You also always have the option of connecting via USB cable. Set up was very simple and the speed and quality of the scan was very very good. Downloading the software was painless and you have several ways to save scans including email, to your documents folder, or dropbox/google drive. Remember that in order to scan, pages must be face down and turned over. I highly recommend this scanner by Epson if you are looking for a compact scanner that doesn't skimp on quality, speed, ease of use, and a variety of ways to connect.

I am so happy with the Workforce Es-60W portable scanner . This device is so light but definitely comes in handy . Setup is simple and can be done in minutes , make sure to have a computer ready for quick , effortless setup. I first scanned my Bills and these went through quickly , very quickly and I saved directly to my cloud on android . I have been able to use the scanner daily with literally no issues . I was suprised tl feel how lightweight the scanner is it felt no more heavier than carrying my phone . The scanner is easy to use in any room of my house . It is small and takes up very little desk space and I am able to get what I need since need in minutes. I use this with Profoto B1 monolights. It's extremely portable and compact which suits the portability of the lights.I can't compare with other beauty dishes as I haven't used any - but it works very well for portraits with just the deflector in place. Nice even crispy light and the deflector lets enough direct light through that you get a pretty clean catchlight (no black dot in the middle). I also got the grid and diffusor and it behaves similarly to my Profoto 3' Octa with those in place. It may in future replace the octa if I can't see much difference.I use it on a standard Profoto RFi speedring with no problems. Not having a Chimera one to compare with I don't know if the fit is any better, but mine looks just like the product shots when mounted so I assume any difference is minimal.The fabric is not as thick or tough as a Profoto softbox, but it seems quite robust.

Love having my second monitor back after buying a new MacBook Pro. It isn't quite plug and play, you do need to launch an app to make it work.
