These new V.3 pouches are even better than the V.2. The rain covers are designed much better! 5 |

I had no complaints with v.1 but I can notice a (very small) improvement in the finish of v.2. It’s now less rugged which makes the image a little less “blurry” 5 |

Replaced 3 DA Limited primes. Super sharp wide open and consistent across the frame. Lightweight, WR, Metal construction. Definitely worthy of the LTD designation. Has wonderful bokeh and the great colors, contrast of the DA LTD primes. Autofocus is silent 5 |

I use the 31 Ltd on a K10D. It is one of the finest lenses that I have ever used and compares favorably with Zeiss/Contax prime lenses that I have used previously. Images are so crystalline that one would think that there was no glass whatsoever between the subject and the sensor. Two drawbacks are the nearly useless built-in hood and a moderate degree of barrel distortion. 5 |

A versatile focal length on a digital SLR. Being built for full frame film cameras there is more glass than strictly necessary for an APS-C sized sensor but that only makes things better - all the light is going through the sweet spots of the lens elements. Sharp even wide open and very sharp when stopped down, but even more important is the special rendering available from this great lens. Like the 77mm Ltd, (which I also have and treasure) the colours, hues, bokeh, and 3D imagery all want to make you use this lens more and more. Simply put this lens and the 77mm Ltd are capable of yielding such elegant images. I've looked at hundreds of images taken with the 31mm Ltd and can honestly say that only the Carl Zeiss 28mm T* Distagon F2 matches it, and only an equivalent focal length Leica exceeds it's sharpness in the corners. This lens is also a testament to Pentax's expertise with lens coatings. Recently I've also noticed that a number of Canon 5D professional users are mounting this lens on their cameras via adaptors - which is quite a testament. Wonderful build quality and every time you use it you feel you are associating with something aristocratic. 5 |

Very high quality image rendition. Sharp. It's everything they said it would be. I use it in cramped quarters, when my 77 LTD would be too long. 5 |
