We tested inside a 2 flor restaurant, one of the mics was in the service room and the receptor was inside the office, you have to go into the kitchen then into another 2 closed spaces to get to the office (all the walls are made of brick) and I could listen to everything going on in front of the house. GREAT TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION !!!

C stands are essential tools for my lighting and grip. These avenger stands are great and I always find myself needing more than I have on hand.

One of the most essential tools we have on the truck. I've used this thing in almost every type of environment from violent winds to tiny apartments. We normally have a 42x72 and 72x72 close by on our carts, but the 42x72 really comes in handy for diffusing car windshields, doorways, individual handheld stuff, or anywhere the 72x72 is just too large for the environment or situation. If you're considering this investment, you won't be disappointed. Only thing negative I can mention is that the black and white fabric is sort of crunchy, and the white side is kind of glossy- but I think it's to keep the fabric lightweight which is great. Sometimes if I want to get the shine out of the white side I just put a second fabric like the 1/8 grid cloth over the white. One other thing is when using the nets, they can easily get snagged on the pins that hold the frame together and tear the net- but if your careful, it's fine to work with. For real, chimera nailed it. 10 out of 10

Both of these, the 48" and the 30" are essential tools of the trade and at a good price. There are other bigger diffusers ( along with bigger prices ) and they all have their place in the work we do, but these Lastolite have found a place in my kit. They are easy to use on a stand or handheld. Just make sure you have strong clamps and a stand bag or two for the stand work. And by the way, Thanks to B&H for their service and help. I have all the Photek modifiers and I can say they are essential tools in my lighting journey. Easy to set up and use, they are so adaptable. I have the hot shoe diffusers for each unit, which just makes them more valuable to my workflow. Hands down the most bang for your photo buck! Just buy it!
