Very well built. Very stable and adjustable for different sizes of alto and tenor saxophone. Also adjust the height.

Reviewing Plustek in general. I own and use the OpticBook A300 Plus (scans up to 12x17, drivers avail for Windows only ATM) and uniquely to Plustek, they scan extremely close to the edge (a few mm), so they are especially suited to book scanning. Other book scanning options such as a scanner/camera mounted on a stand taking photos of an open book, and then re-straightening the images in software look like a bogus approach if you want quality. Stick to Plustek or similar book-specific flatbed scanners. The software Plustek provides is basic. I recommend using 3rd party software (extra cost, sure) - for ex. VueScan (Windows or Mac) supports most/all of the Plustek scanners (after you install Plustek's own drivers) for scanning. And once a book is scanned to images, use something like ABBYY FineReader PDF for OCR/conversion to PDF, Word docx and other formats. You can even make your own ePub's using a process such as VueScan (Mac or Windows) - FineReader PDF OCR (Mac or Windows) - Export to docx - Import docx to Vellum (Mac only) - lots of manual tweaking - Export to ePub.

I purchased the WD 6TB Elements Desktop drive in April 2021. It's now June 2024 and the drive is performing great. I already had a WD 4TB My Book drive but was getting close to running out of space for my music, photos, videos, and documents. I've been using these drives every day for about 6 hours and both drives are still performing like new. My 4TB My Book has over 22,000 runtime hours and my 6TB Elements has over 14,000 runtime hours.

I had an Elements, trying a My Book this time, since it was a free upgrade. I'm not sure if there appears to be a difference, but DISH movies are fine with the transfer for external storage. The DISH Hopper holds 7 TB. It's too bad there aren't any 7 TB external hard drives. They seem to be 6 and 8 TB.

This elements cove is an essential part of my seascape imagery. It has saved me from major repairs due to sea water splashing onto my camera! Been using this for the last 2 years, it was time to retire my old one & purchase a newer cover.

I have purchased several of these drives, and they are all working well. What I like about the Elements drive vs. the WD Essential or the Go Flex is that it does not try to back-up my computer automatically. It just sits there and let's me drag files or use my favorite back-up software to move files. I use the drive for offline files, not back-up so I like to see all the file names rather than one file that needs to be restored. The Elements is perfect.

Essential for protecting your lens from dirt, dust and the elements. I bought this as a spare, in case I lost the original, while in the field shooting.

Its really a simple small kit that contains a few essential items for keeping your glass clean. I bought the kit both becuase I need it and also to utilize the 2% back reward from another purchase. I did'nt really think much about the 2% back at time of original purchase, but I'm glad I got this and another couple freebies out of the deal.

This is now an essential part of my gear collection. This book is well organized and illustrated, enabling me to quickly find a topic of interest or deal with an operational question.
