Ethernet Adapter For Macbook Pro 2020

I upgraded my 2017 MacBook Pro and it really seems it worth it. This new 2020 Macbook is very fast, has a much better battery and a totally new keyboard. As usual, Apple made a very good job!

Of course my new late-2020 MacBook Air has different ports from my old mid-2013 MacBook Air. I needed an adapter for my monitor, backup disk, wireless keyboard, etc. This is the perfect adapter. Works seamlessly with all my peripherals. Plug and play, as it should be be. Packaged well by B&H and arrived sooner than estimated.

After trying out about 5 different products, this one actually provided the solution to dual display problem for my MacBook m1 2020. Very simple to use and there is no delay whatsoever as some other adapters (that require you to use display adapter or some other softwares). The adapter seems very well built.

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm happy with this adapter and it would be hard to beat at this price. This is a very affordable solution if your computer does not have its own ethernet port. I needed to attach an Ethernet cable to a MacBook (of course no ports on the MacBook) so I got this with an adapter so I could use the cable and then the adapter with USB to plug into the laptop. Once the correct driver was installed for the MacBook / adapter all worked great. Instructions for all could be better. Thanks to B&H for super advice and support!

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro that only has USB-C ports, like most newer Apple Laptops. I also have two older Fujifilm X-T2 digital cameras that use a USB port matching the weird USB 3.2 connector that is on one end of this cable. When the X-T2 came out, the USB 3.2 G2 connector was the supposed new standard replacing the old USB 2.0 connector. Problem is that USB-C arrived less than a year and USB 3.2 was quickly discontinues. It took me a long time to find this cable and I had to keep removing my SD cards and plug them into an SD card reader to download my images. This SecureData Cable is well made with s cloth covering and solid metal connectors. I highly recommend it.

It is a serious upgrade from my old MacBook Pro. I was debating between the newest 2020 model and this Mid 2019 model. With $600 discount, this model offers much more than the newest model other than the new keyboard on 2020 MacBook Pro.

Works with 16 MacBook Pro I have been using and loving the original Kickstarter version since 2017 so I felt that it's time for an update and this new 2020 version did not disappoint. There are many copycats in the market that copied the 2017 version so they still have the same old issues. HyperDrive has always been a pioneer and probably just came out with the best USB-C hub for the MacBook Pro/Air.

I am a teacher and bought this in part to manage planning, as well as teaching on Zoom. I use it along with my MacBook Pro (2020 Intel) and I really love it. Such a solid monitor for the cost.
