We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.

I'm using this short CAT6 cable to patch my router and switch together. It is delivering a gigabit connection and seems to be of good quality. I also like the color options as it makes it easier to follow connections.

I recently upgraded to an 8Gb/s internet connection, and this switch was the perfect drop-in upgrade to accommodate that. It runs warm but not hot to the touch, indicating decent thermal headroom for those who might be loading it up with more throughput (I only have 3 10Gb/s devices connected to it). I also bought some CAT-7 cabling to upgrade the CAT-6 cable running 100ft to the modem, but haven't found a need to actually install it yet since this seems to work great with the existing cable run. Beyond the product itself, I have to tip my hat to B&H for their consistent speed of service. Up here in Canada we have options for acquiring this kind of gear but even with the exchange rate and import duties, B&H usually beats the price and ships faster by professional courier. Plus, when they say In Stock they mean it! They should open a Canadian warehouse :-)

Very high quality cable that seems like it will last a long time. The ethernet connection has been flawless so far very happy with this cable.

The assembly was easy, and the driver installation was easy, and the ethernet cable connection was easy, and paper roll loading was easy, and then the plotting worked well. Only glitch was the driver software creating two printers, and no documentation on which was which (one was ethernet and one was USB).

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

This is the cheapest SFP+ switch (but reliable) I could find for my homelab. Many others are more expensive. After reading reviews on the Mikrotik SFP+ options I decided to stay with Unifi since I already had many Ubiquiti Ethernet switches and a controller in place. I am also connecting this to a Unifi 24-port via 1-Gb SFP as a link and connecting to my core switch via 10GbE over CAT6. Core switch is an FS.COM unit with a 10GbE Ethernet transceiver. No issues negotiating to 10GbE. The CAT6 cable run is probably under 50 feet. I am also using old Finisar transceivers without issue, but have not tried DAC cables yet. However, if you do not have a Unifi Controller in place perhaps wait for the new QNAP managed combo switches coming out. It will be a lot simpler. Or you can get the more expensive EdgeSwitch ES-16-XG.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.
