Ethernet Cable Cat5 Cat6 Cat7

This is very good CAT7 Ethernet cable at a very good price. Does what it's supposed to do.

The cable arrived promptly, thanks B&H Photo Video, unlike the standard yellow cat5, this Cat6 unlocks the newer faster connection from modern Xfinity routers; I was especially impressed with the fact that the cable is looser and less kinked than those cheap yellow cat5 cables. Great cable, no problems, worked straight out of the bag perfectly.

Upgraded all of my network wiring from Cat6 to these Cat7 wires. Very happy with the build quality, and the gold plating on the RJ-45 connecter. The shielding is so think that the wire feels more like a cable line! Love the 3 ft length, wish they made a 1ft option for really short connections from a switch, but happy with them especially at the price point. Great way to future proof your wired network.

I like the white cat6 cable.

After upgrading all Ethernet connections in home with multiple CAT7 cables from Monoprice, noticed an average increase download streaming speed of 10-15 Mbps on previously slower devices rubbing on home network, including Firestick with VPN active.

This cable is nice and thick. The connections are really well made. I'm pumped about the speed this Cat7 cable gives me.

This is the cheapest SFP+ switch (but reliable) I could find for my homelab. Many others are more expensive. After reading reviews on the Mikrotik SFP+ options I decided to stay with Unifi since I already had many Ubiquiti Ethernet switches and a controller in place. I am also connecting this to a Unifi 24-port via 1-Gb SFP as a link and connecting to my core switch via 10GbE over CAT6. Core switch is an FS.COM unit with a 10GbE Ethernet transceiver. No issues negotiating to 10GbE. The CAT6 cable run is probably under 50 feet. I am also using old Finisar transceivers without issue, but have not tried DAC cables yet. However, if you do not have a Unifi Controller in place perhaps wait for the new QNAP managed combo switches coming out. It will be a lot simpler. Or you can get the more expensive EdgeSwitch ES-16-XG.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.
